The Muffin King still lives

Post by Galen0624 »

After about a year and a half under the florescent lights the Muffin King is now petrified. Fortunately he doesn't stink.

Hail to the King, baby!

It looks like the legs and feet didn't survive, though. I'm guessing they would have gotten disgustingly sticky before a year was up.

Is there a picture of the Muffin King before he lost his arms and legs?

I'm also curious as to who the maker of the Muffin King is.

The telling of the tale shall how begin.

The Muffin King once lived in the land of gray ooze. (Also know as Marks brain)
His ambitions were high so he transitioned to paper and eventually climbed the corporeal ladder to internet media. After a few followers pledged fealty to him he became arrogant. He convinced a few of his devoted to perform the demonic ceremony to transmigrate him to the real world. Much to his folly his moist Muffin body quickly became petrified from the horrors that are "Target Corporation". Now he stands as a warning to all of the creatures in Marks brain.

So ends the telling.

What a nice little shrine.

The original Muffin King picture was linked to in the rant for November 10, 2003.

Heh, I believe Mark was talking to me about that particular comic last night...

[Edit] I guess I could have just directly linked to the image.[/Edit]

Huh. Well, that makes my task of searching for that comic that much easier.

The large container pictured in the fifth frame of that strip is also in the second panel of #425, but empty. There's no reason anyone should be expected to make that connection or that the pervious contents of that container was obviously "Carrot Top's " head. This puts the timeline for how far back I can "prove" having planned for this monster, more or less, to November 2003.

Y'know, I was thinking more of a "Church Lady" SNL reference, but I think we got a better peek into the mind of the cartoonist this way...
