Sounds like other weddings should be done with these kind of constraints. Turning out to sound like a much more creatively constructed and generally more interesting wedding than most those going about, at least most I've been to.

If I'd gotten a custom tailored cheongsam you bet your ass I'd be wearing red with the traditional Chinese headdress. Unfortunately we're on a budget.

Weren't you from Hong Kong orignally? The dress I wore in my serenity photos was custom tailored for me for only 40 bucks, I sent my measurements back with an exhcnage student from hong king for my senior prom...
So yea, it wasn't terribly expensive. and they offered a more traditional cheongsam too.

Singapore. Tailored cheongsams cost a LOT more back there.
Like, on par with wedding dresses "a lot".
Still I'm glad with my chemise, it's cute and naughty and looks great on me.

damn.. I just dropped my cocoabutter.

He demands obeisance in the form of oral sex, or he'll put you at the mercy of his tentacles. Even after performing obeisance, you might be on the receiving ends of tentacles anyway. In this case, pray to Sodomiticus to intercede on your behalf.

Thats sad.
But it's happy that the naughty and sexy bit makes you happy too!

Why would this be a surprise? It's fricken lingerie for chrissakes. It's fairly modest for lingerie, but it's still Victoria's Secret sleepwear!

Exactly, and ones imagination is running quite wild thank you.

Mwhahaha. And my mother nearly had a stroke at one of the dressing room photos of me pulling up my stockings with my fulll edwardian ballgown on. It's just that with a 38DD bustline, an edwardian corset makes you all tits and ass (at the time I weighed about 135 lbs). And an 1890s ballgown doesn't leave a whole lot to the imagination, at least on the top half.
My mother says, "That's almost obscene!" George leers and says, "Well, I like it." Since we were married now, mother sat there for a second with her mouth open before she decided to just Not Go There. Because even by southern baptist standards, it's permitted to oggle your wife.
Mel, I salute you. I'd have had to elope to be able to wear that sort of get up.
I just finished making my own veil - it's a 48 in diameter circle of tulle gathered in the middle for a cascading hem effect, stitched to a cheap hairband from Claire's, with silk flower and ribbon embellishments (to hide the fact that I stitched it onto a cheap hairband from Claire's).
Don't you love simple ingenuity? Of course I'm now sore-fingered and covered in fabric glue from a gluekakke accident, but hey. I made my own wedding veil. I'm going to hand it down to my daughter.
And she will resent me for it.
"My mother wants me to wear this ugly, tacky thing she made herself! I have no idea a veil could be so... crudely made! That thing she sewed it on rusted and now it's splotched with brown! But she says I will lose my inheritance if I don't marry you in it. I hate my mom."

... and think of the money you could have made by letting people watch you do it on the Internet. Be sure to have cameras ready when you decorate the wedding cake, at least.
Anyway, it sounds lovely. When I win the lottery and (less likely) find someone willing to marry me, I'm hiring you to coordinate it.
