Color IS aggravating... but I think it adds an extra drop of readability to any comic.

That said, I really like grayscale comics and other comics that use alternative shades. Color is extremely important... if you just use the flashiest colors possible you're going to make a mess. Subdued is the way to go.

edit: I actually really WOULD like to join your dropdown, Sir. After I finish the first storyline I'll PM you about getting the code. I only color in the main characters (the backgrounds are always gray, unless there's nature involved), and I never use more than four different colors in a panel...

Well, one of my comics is in perfect black/white. No shades of grey, even. I guess that invalidates the point.

One of my webcomics is almost 100% greyscale, I'll join in.

B/W works too. If you want, add the code to your site and once I see it up and working, I'll add you to the list.

Hey distantant_screaming, though there is the occasional use of color in my strip it is primarily greyscale. I put the code in last night so the dropdown should already be showing up. Give us a look!

I alternate between b/w and grayscale depending on how nonlazy I'm feeling... I could be in it... just let me know if you add me so I can link back.

Though there's no guarantee I'll stay in a grayscale style, which makes me hesitant to apply....

Nicotine, the code for the dropdown should be in the first post of the thread. Just put it up where ever you feel on your site and once I see it working there, I'll add you

Yo. My name is Wrathofautumn.

And my comic's name is Mutant 59.

I rarely use colors in my comic. Perhaps I could join?

Just use the code on the first post in your site some where and I'll add you once I see it working.

Mine's mostly greyscale. Occasionally I'll have a color strip (once or twice a month), and every strip has little things in color (eyes, blood, some shades in the background.) If that counts, I'm in. *PMs now*

I've taken down the bar and such from my site. It was conflicting with my layout and I can't seem to make it work. Sorry, but I guess I can't be a part of the Grey Area.
