If you don't then you're a newbie and not worth considering. Ahahaha.
Thanks to google maps we have a new version to play around with, though currently I have to put all the details in.
The Comic Genesis google map
If you want me to add you to the map you can either give me the unformatted information:
Name Latitude/longitude Url of comic Address Avatar you wish to use
Alternatively you can format it yourself which means I'll be able to stick you straight in. This is the code for my marker as an example:
Code: Select all
<spacer><point lng="-1,966667" lat="52.042000000"/>
<icon image="marker.png" class="local" />
<info>
<FullName>War</FullName>
<url>http://www.digitalwar.co.uk</url>
<address>Sedgeberrow</address>
<address2>United Kingdom</address2>
<img>avatars/war.png</img>
</info>
</spacer>

I got these co-ordinates from some map site which I didn't fully understand, so they could be wrong. Also, not sure if the url I put for the avatar is correct, it's supposed to be the one I'm using now.
Code: Select all
<spacer><point lng="-4.081" lat="55.675"/>
<icon image="marker.png" class="local" />

Where do you go to find longitude and latitude with decimal points? I can only find my location with minutes and seconds.

Damnit, I'm still not sure if it's safe for me to publically announce my location.
I feel so...excluded.

I've added Mooman, Humbug, Komiyan, Warren and changed CJs avatar.
Just google seach along the lines of 'latitude longitude <town name>'.
Or use this:
http://www.astro.com/atlas
It only has to be a rough estimate, we don't need to know the pinpoint location of your home.

Thanks! I'll have to double-check my lat/long... I seem WAY north.
