I'm surprised that Gilly could get into the station that easily. I wonder if he just violated some federal law by unlawfully entering a broadcast facility?

Regardless, when Zelda lets loose with that mace Gilly will find out what burning desire is all about.

That and peper spray incapacitates you for a long time, donno how long her quils wold work, and I don't think she throw them anyways (I could be very wrong on that)

Though, I know RH probably did as a gag effect why is she shaking the can? you don't need to shake it like an arasole to get it to work, at least the one my wife carries you don't...

Because porcupines don't actually sling their quills through the air like a fistful of darts.

The quills get imbedded when they slap their tails (or their bodies) against their would-be attackers, after which the quills get pulled loose from the porcupine's body (they're basically modified hairs, and loose to begin with) when their attacker jumps back. Therefore, she'd have to actually make physical contact with Gilly to "quill" him. Mace can be done at arm's length.

Second, her quills are on her back and tail, not on her front. That's good for defending oneself against an attack from behind, but not so good when the threat is in front of you...

Though, I know RH probably did as a gag effect why is she shaking the can?

Judging by her expression, I imagine she's not doing it deliberately...

no no you're not thinking sinister enough.

first she has to step on his foot to hold him there, then spray him full flush in the face with the mace and while doing that make a swift kick below the belt.

when the mace runs out (yes she just kept on spraing until it ran out) she then socks him in the gut real hard and then head-buts him in the face to knock him down flat.

then the real fun begins...

That was quite a while back....unless she's continued the treatments, her quills sould have reconstituted and hardened back up. Besides, unless she turns around or reverse elbow strikes him, her quills are still pretty much useless.

And you CAN safely pet and stroke a porcupine without heavy gloves so long as you only stroke from head to tail and not reverse.

She still has the hairstyle the girls at the sleepover gave her, so she may have continued the treatments. But that would only be on her head, anyway. The rest of her quills should be normal.

soft or not they still look sharp and unless gilly was at the sleepover he wouldn't suspect the softness anyway. as such they still LOOK intimidating and can easily (to someone who knows what they're doing (unlike me) anyway) be used to threaten someone to back off.

I just realized something......notice that the "ON THE AIR" sign is lit....if there's a live mic in that room, Gilly has just confessed to illegal entry to the station ON LIVE RADIO!!!

Now when she maces the crap outta him...

..Malarky County listeners are gonna be treated to the music of his screams of pain and the sounds of his butt getting kicked outta the station and into a paddy wagon........!!!
