Not sure, but I'm sure if he works it out, he just might get a startling development.

Beside, pictures are passe. He shoulda brought a sketch book. Not that hard to draw Velvet with a pen full of invisable ink.

Heh. Last panel, 7/21. A 1000 watt klieg light just flicked on in Penny's head.

Can't help but wonder what Penny was thinking in the last panel. Was it incredulity? Did she see Velvet off screen? Or was that a expression of remembrance? Has she ever seen Velvet? Or maybe heard about him from her Grandfather? The one Ben freaked out at Lily's family reunion.
There is something to be said for competent silence.

He also seemed to get a bit taller there, or Penny just shrunk
shoot!!!
it completely spaced my mind when I first read this!

cats (the cheeta especially) are capable of streatching their spine out, that's one factor to why they can run and dash so fast! that may explain his sudden growth spurt.
I still say the doctor did it....

I thought that was her cousin Petunia:

Kerlian photography is not only fun, but the things you can "see" in the results are astonishing.

Petunia has nothing to do with it. They are completly differerent. Penny is shorter than Lily, Petunia is taller than her. Also at the reunion 'Tunia' is wearing jeans while Penny has shorts on.

Exactly... Penny is the sister (now goth) who got smacked by the "invisible bunny".... Petunia is the cigarette-danglin' smart-alecky cousin. They do look a bit similar at the party, but the aforementioned clothing difference makes it pretty clear that it was Penny, not Petunia, who got drenched.

It's very clear from the third strip in the offered links that the person who got drenched was told (but didn't see) an "invisible bunny". Now, Penny or Petunia?

The first link shows Penny answering the door, but with the bottom of the frame making it hard to tell if she's wearing shorts. (They are dark, though.) We also see how short she is at that time.

The second shows Petunia in long pants.

The third shows someone in light shorts but not much taller than the youngsters she berates.

I vote for Penny.

Heh heh crazy broads.
Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.

Actually, looking back at it, it does look like shorts and I think it is Penny. So, therefore my vote is Penny.

Umm.. hon.. Going out on a limb here, but I think he was refering to the age gap in potential relationship between Penny and ghost-hunter kid rather than anything to do with looks. Could be wrong, let me know :)
