I'm just curious... are you going to slowly draw up all the archives and when you're finished post it in one fell swoop? Or are you planning on doing the Girl Genius approach and have them appearing at the same time (approximately) as the regular comics? (One thing you could do, btw, is go to a MWF schedule for the main strip and on TuThSa post the back strips with links to them on the main page. That way you won't stress yourself out with non-stop cartooning.)

No, the plan is to keep the daily a daily.

The "past year and a half" that I'm filling back in will come as I get it done, and updated as they are finished. My primary focus is getting the daily out on a daily basis, and secondarily to have those other strips done around winter or spring of next year so that when I do get the first print volume done it would most likely be that "first year" storyline that would go to print.

including introducing an alternate pronunciation for the state name...
