My first actual fan!

Post by Dburkhead »

Yay! Egoboo!

I seem to have aquired a bona-fide fan: someone who has sent letters saying how he likes my comic, made positive comments on my newsgroup (hosted on the private server sff.net), sent me fanart, made a positive comment on onlinecomics.net, and even made a nice comment on my personal homepage's guestbook.

Life is good.

I'm jelious.

I don't even get tag-board fans anymore.

Well, with a couple of exceptions. I had the first post in about two months last week. :)

A friend of mine called dibs on the "Number One Fan" title after seeing my very first comic, but that doesn't exactly count. >>'

Stalker? Feh. I'd much rather have a groupie? Can't I have a groupie? (Or maybe a gropee?)

I covered myself with honey and rolled around in bird seed, and all the animals in the neighborhood followed me for miles.

Woot! Pretty soon you'll find yourself posting IM conversations between this person and yourself as filler. :)

I've got at least a few already...

...in fact they're pretty much the only ones who read the comic.

I havea few "fans", none have done fan art for me, but then again I've never asked for fan art, or love, or adoration...just the occational bj.

What? Is that so wrong? I'm a man too you know, I have NEEDS just like McDuffies.

Stop looking at me like that....

I think my first fan was IV Studios, actually. He sent me an e-mail wayyyy back around the start of my comic because he'd just recently started his as well. All my fun fans are in #keenspace :D.

My #1 bestest best fan is Luis Loza who does Mintwhelp http://mintwhelp.keenspace.com. I really like his comic, too, so it's very flattering. He draws me a ton of fanart. :) My #2 fan is my little sister, and #3 is Monkey, some guy that used to spoof my comic all the time on my artboard. And is obsessed with burritos for some reason.

It's really good to have one good fan. :) Congrats.

I really don't get any creepy rabid fans. But then again, I like it that way.

Congrats! I seem to have two more-or-less rabid fans (one of them is more rabid than the other) who can hold long conversations in the newsbox without me even participating. :o The most rabid one sent me three fanarts for the birthday, too, so I think I'm right to call him rabid.

Maybe you have three normal fans with the same name.

I choose to take that literally.

I picture you waving a stick and shouting a lot.
