Yeah, what's wrong with the Colts?

Hating the Patriots, I understand. Those Bostonians are uppity enough with their baseball team winning. Fortunately we don't have to deal with that for another century.

But for their football team to win as well, they would just be downright intolerable!

I want the Colts to win, myself, but I'll settle for the Steelers, too.

What, the NFC is playing in the Superbowl too? Wasn't aware of that. :D

(attention: all flames on this thread will be of a good-natured variety, or you can go on the espn chatrooms check out that copy editor's nightmare. I'm so glad people on this forum can spell  )

Any Marino fan (me) isn't a big Peyton Manning fan. So, given the Dolphins' wonderful year, I'm rooting for the Steelers. I also like Ben Roethlisberger, cuz he's a rookie who's played solid and wasn't hyped (preseason, anyway) half as much as certain other Eli Mannings. On the Eli note, he might play well someday, but as long as Peyton's playing so well (he's gonna be the landslide winner of the MVP, I'll give you Colts fans that), I'll relish mocking his inept little brother. How ya like the Chargers now, Eli? Bwa-haha!

And in my opinion, I think the NFC should get a separate championship game. Like the "Mediocrity Bowl." It really hurt to watch NFC games this year. I really like the Packers, but geez. How can you play so well one week, and stink it up the next? You'd think they were the Dolphins.

...or the Bucs. :(

I'm thinking Steelers-Falcons. Between losing Terrell Owens and sitting their starters the past couple weeks, the Eagles are rusty, and will probably lose their 4th straight NFC Championship game (if the Rams, Seahawks, or Vikings don't knock them off first). I don't think the Packers have much of a chance in the divisional round, considering what Michael Vick did to them in Lambeau in the playoffs 2 years ago.

I second zodo on the Patriots. I currently live in Vermont where there will likely never be a pro team of any sport in my lifetime(the upside is, cheape Ben and Jerry's). What disgusts me about Vermonters is they'll latch onto the closest winning pro team as 'their' team(except the Yankees).

That said, go Broncos!!!! Or at least beat the point spread!

I still think the Bucs played better than their record, if that makes any sense. I dunno what they spiked Brian Griese's gatorade with since he played for the Dolphins and stunk it up, but he might turn out to be a great quarterback yet.

As for the Patriots, all I can say if they get to the Super Bowl is "IMPOSTERS!" I'll treasure them losing to the Dolphins on MNF forever... :D

Well, the Bucs have a history of taking out good teams. They beat Michael Vick and the Falcons this season, as well as twice in 2002. They gave the Vikings their only regular-season loss in 1998. Plus, they used to own the Rams on a regular basis.

Oh, and don't forget about the Bucs both closing out Veterans Stadium and opening Lincoln Financial Field the same way- by beating the Eagles!

The Bucs made some bad personnel moves (like firing Tony Dungy, letting Warren Sapp go elsewhere, cutting John Lynch, and letting GM Rich McKay go to Atlanta). The Glazers have to be among the worst owners in the NFL.

Colts won, St. Louis won, Chargers lost.

So that's one out of two that I was rooting for (didn't really care either way about the rams/seahawks). I have to admit that I kinda like Green Bay, so I'll root for them too against the Vikings.

I've actually been rooting for the Steelers since they thrashed the Patriots. :)

Zodo beat me to it, but the Colts Won.

I was disappointed that Green Bay lost though. I was hoping they would win.

Hell I was hoping for a Green Bay/Indianapolis Super Bowl. I wouldn't have known who to root for.

My sentiments exactly. Whiny Pats fans will say "Eeeeh, the Patriots didn't have Corey Dillon though! He was injured in that game! They woulda won otherwise!"

Well, how'd they manage to lose to the Dolphins, then? (With a 4-12 record, I'll cling to that for dear life) :D

Go Steelers! Or Eagles!

And, now, cast your vote for biggest ego in football! Deion Sanders, Terrell Owens, Eli Manning, Ricky Williams, or, that darling of the Midwest...Randy Moss!!

Well, I guess Warren Sapp no longer holds the title of the Packers' Public Enemy #1.

Hey, Randy. Fire your barber!
