I must say I liked it too. It was very soft and emotive. Although Frank looked as if he'd been doing some chin-push-ups lately or something...
------------------

I'm doing a "different styles" week this week, so whilst the storyline goes on as normal, the art styles will change from day to day.
Mab
------------------

I'll definitely say it's noticeable on Monday, and I do like the contrast. (I was wondering if something was going on...)

Yeah, it's pretty kickass so far, Mabs!!! I don't know why, but it's nice and refreshing. That and (today's) because I'm a sucker for blue.

BWA-HA-HA!
I love you, man.
So here we have the "representational" look. Quite strange for one of Keenspace's best artists to draw like that, but you do it admirably.

I didn't realize that this qualified as a "style." I thought it was just what those of us who couldn't draw did.
------------------

"And hast thou slain the Jaberwock?
Come to my arms, by beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.
--from Jaberwocky, by
Lewis Carroll
In grade school I was required to memorize 2 poems. I chose Poe's "The Raven" and "Jaberwocky" by Carroll. While about half of Poe's work has escaped me, I can still recite this one from memory. Also. I have been known to use the same quote as Francis in celebration.
Very good strip today Maboo. For some reason I was feeling a little down and that quote came from out of the blue and picked me up.
BTW, those were some of the best, most instantly recognizable stick figures I've ever seen yesterday.
Animaniac

'twas different...
I thought you'd gone on vacation or something. That's what I get for not paying attention this past week...
I liked it! Well, not all of it -- I liked the stick figures and the strip afterwards.

"Truth hides on the other side of a two-way mirror
In countless documents sent straight to the shredder
That might finally give us the whole of the picture
But until the day we decide to dig a little deeper
We know that truth will hide
Under fallen rocks and stones
At the end of a disconnected phone
Down an unmarked street
And buried, deep beneath your feet."
