Just a note.
It seems like everyone here knows everyone else. Except me. Yet even though I'm a stranger here, no one was really clicquish about my posts and I wasn't ignored at any point. I respect that. Thanks.
Just thought I'd mention it. The ability to treat strangers with dignity and respect is a good one.
I very much dislike ppl who are clicky.
So i usually make an effort not to be that way. *L* But hey, you fit in fine, we're all weird, so... *L*

Though i don't know EVERYONE on this list... though most don't seem to post more than once or twice, except Catman.
I DO know Angie, Bremusa, Duncan, Delfy, Dubble, Robert, though HE only posted once too, the twit...
Not know them all in RL, but from chatrooms and stuff.

Geez Mel, what are you doing talking to this SpiritWolf person?

Seriously, hi, I am Arno, and... *Fumbles with his fingers a bit* I read Dakota's Ridge. I have also been kicked to this board by a certain Other who is part of the "already knows everyone else"-group. I have been looking for a topic to make a worthwhile post in, but each thread seems to have moved to a point where no worthwhile newbie post can be made. As I didn't think it'd be right to create a whole "Hey, meet me!"-thread, I picked this one. It's kinda fitting.

In time, should I remember to read and post here, you will come to know me as an idiot who uses way too many smilies, wonders stupid stuff like "why are these folders on fire", starts many a sentence with two capital letters instead of one and totally overuses '...'

I think this will be all for now. I will check back later to see just how much emptiness follows this post. *l*

Delph: Nope, aside from my pack (which is what I call the collection of about four or five of my closest friends that I know via ICQ and email, I only have nine people on my ICQ list altogether, I'm obsessively clean about that and did I ever go off on a tangent ...) and a few others (not just Dakota's Ridge others), most the people I've met have been clicquish ... it's just their way I suppose. It's always nice to meet a group of people that aren't like that.
Mel: Here {hands here a cattle prod}, every time he calls himself an idiot, jab him with it! He'll learn, either that or he'll become very neurotic. Either works. ;>
Arno: Wow, you ARE like yourself, aren't you? That is, the other yourself that happens to be in the Dakota's Ridge comic that is you but isn't you because it isn't you even though it is you.
Spiritwolf,
Hey, we've all been outsiders (or newbies) at one time or another. And I think all of us can say we ran into both clicky and nice people when we were new. And we remembered the nice people. As they say, what goes around, comes around. Does this make sense? If it does, maybe I'm losing my touch. Tee hee.
Hey Arno! It's about time! Now I won't have to torture you. (Darn it all.)
SpiritWolf>*starts singing 'oliver Twist song* *with accent* Consider yourself our mate Consider yourself pat of the furniture...
Anyway I don't know anything else to say 'cept I'm glad you feel that way
Arno>Yay! Hello! *hugs you* You aren't an idiot silly anD Even if by some itsy bitsy teeny weeny chance you were then you'd be stuck with me for company <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/wink.gi ... lphine>Why would you want to do a thing like that?
And I like Brem even though she ate me once *L*

Mel>No I'm not a musical fan *L* I'm a musical freak
Arno>Well it was very dark wet and smelled funny
And I don't like cliques either but if I am accidentaly cliquey (cause I probably will be) someone kick me please Ok?
Spiritwolf>AW now I broke all the windows for nothing. Oliver Twist is a musical and that's a song from it. Its quite scary that I still remember most of the words after 2 years

Whew... Well, this is certainly an interesting indication of how often you'll see me around, no? *L* I meant to post something thursday, but my provider decided against that.

Now yes, we hate cliques... We're the clique-hating clique, and we hate anyone who won't hate cliques!

SpiritWolf> *L* My ICQ-list is slightly different from yours. I have a problem saying... ... That word that's the opposite of yes.
And I've always been like myself more or less. Unless I was someone else by mistake. But those are emberassing moments I'd rather not discuss. *l*
As for all the denial of my stupidity, including threats of violence through cattle prod, I can only say, one day the truth shall be uncovered! YOu cannot stop me forever! ... Though, for now the cattle prod seems effective enough.

Dubble> So what was it like, Bremusa's stomach? *L*
