When I was in the tag agency on Friday, all the people were talking about that story and when they were going to go see the movie, and if they could handle it.

It reminds me of William Castle movie promotions. They used to hand out free Life Insurance Policies, in case anyone died of Fright watching their horror films.

Too bad they don't do that anymore.

What do you guys think is funnier. The fact that Jesus has now joined the ranks of Jason and Freddy, to forever be associated with a horror movie, or the fact that this movie has been widely embraced by the Christian community while better Jesus films ( ie, The last temptation ) were protested by these same people?

More proof that fundies have a sick and twisted taste in movies.

I don't see whats so bad. It'd a movie about a well-known fictional character. I wonder if people get this upset about the Harry Potter movies....

And also, I'm ruined for Jesus flicks after seeing "The Testaments." But that's an LDS film, and the rest of you probably never heard of it.

Being Jewish, I don't know if I'd go see it. Not really because some claim it would find it anti-semetic, but because I think I'd probably find it boring. Plus Mel annoys me.

I don't know if I've ever been more bored with a movie I've never seen than this one. Which has nothing to do with the movie, really, just all nonsense surrounding it. Shame. At some point I was actually interested.
