I'm not sure if this'll be helpful, but some of the FTP problems seem to be fixed now...I had the same problem; I was FTPing to celeste.keenspace.com, and it was going to the right server, but it kept closing the connection. It works now, so...I don't know, maybe the rest of them are working too.

I don't know if I should feel relieved or more worried. At least I know that I'm not the only one. My FTP keeps rejecting the password, so I was going crzy for 20 minutes trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Now I know it wasn't my fault. Oh well.

let's review: www.keenspace.com and ftp.keenspace.com both point to the old FTP server, which doesn't work. You need to FTP into keenspace.com or ComicName.keenspace.com/ Your of your ISPs' DNS servers should have updated by now.
EDIT: Corrected some inaccuracies. There's trouble with the new server's HD and FTP server right now. Should be fixed by tommorrow (1/18/2002)
------------------

I'm having the same problem too. It gets to the password and then it says connection closed. I use smartFTP and I've never had trouble with this before. =| Upsetting, because today is the day my comic is supposed to be updated and I can't upload my strip. =(
------------------

I'm going to concur. I use the automatic FTP function of my browser, and I can download new files OK, but they're not actually updating on my site. A few pages are several days old, despite the presence of updated pages at my ftp site.
I need to upload new strips soon, too.

I knew this would happen.
First, your ISP's DNS server may have the old value in there. If you do a 'nslookup' or 'host' on the command line, and it turns up something other than 64.71.165.151 (tor), then your ISP's pointing you to the old one. Ugh. Everyone check to make sure your domain is pointing to it.
Second, DON'T FTP TO FTP.KEENSPACE.COM. That points to the old server, 64.71.165.130 (kingluca), and you won't get anywhere if you do that. FTP to your own domain. We may transfer this over to the new server.
Now, I'll refer to the servers by their names. If you are FTPing into kingluca, you won't update. Spacekeen is shut down on that. If you FTP into tor, you'll be fine.
The subdomains "www" and "member" also point to kingluca, so requesting updates may not take effect yet. I have to bug Nate about it.
------------------

I am pointing to the .151 server, yet I still can't FTP to http://mangastyle.keenspace.com It seems to try for a good while, then it says the ftp session was terminated.
-Hatsuma!

If the IP address of the server you're logging into ends in .151 or you see:
ProFTPD 1.2.1 Server (Keenspace Dedicated FTP) [torthecalculate]
Congragulations! You're a winner, you can access the new FTP server. So you can upload new files, but the updater seems to be down and transfers seem to be still happening.
------------------

I'm hitting the .151 just fine, but whenever I try to FTP to kissthepan.keenspace.com LeechFTP tells me "! Socket Error: no connection"
I also tried ftp.keenspace.com, and that tells me that my username and password are invalid.
...did I break it, or what?
------------------

I'm hitting port 21 on the new server (is port 21 the right one? If not, I'll have to find out how to specify a port manually), but the connection fails with an error 10071 (using WS_FTP LE). What to do?
------------------
