HA! Truth IS funnier than fiction. I knew a lot of braggedy kids like that; they had collections of Cabbage Patch Kids (which won't make an appearance in the Zema story, sad to say), though. Wonder where that little blonde neighbor girl is now..? Heehee.

Teddy Ruxpin eating hair. Does it get any funnier? <P>
I suppose it does if, like me, you have fond memories of the girl down the street who taunted everyone because she had a Teddy Ruxpin and we didn't and then one day her perfect blonde hair got stuck in the thing's gears and they had to cut a hunk of her hair off to get her free of the demon bear and that was the last we ever saw of Teddy.

Huh, we used to put AC/DC, Black Sabbath, and, Blue Oyster Cult tapes in my friend's little-brother's Teddy Ruxpin. The effect was hilarious.

Too bad they're still too freakin' expensive, even on Ebay. Suppose I'll just stick with good ol' Lazer Tag. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/biggrin.gif"><P>

Two words: "Thrift Stores". Esp. in smaller towns- places where "collectables" have a low value.
Also: Remember what Lazer Tag was based on? it was a game that had a limited "To the consumer" release.(but LT was better advertised, and cheaper...) the gear was bulkier, but I always thought it had cooler looking helmets: "Photon". I actually had a set of those I won in a drawing when I was 13.

Oh, lord! I used to play Photon in college. The fun thing about Photon is that it was just a flash in a gun shaped projector. We would use camera flashes and set off "grenades" to clear an area. But if you didn't get the other guy, he'd see the flash and know where YOU were.<P>Great fun!<P>Doc
