Other message board services?

I get the impression that it'll be a while before anyone gets a new Keenspace message board. We're new to comics and to Keenspace, but would really like to have a forum for Utukki. ( <A HREF="http://utukki.keenspace.com" TARGET=_blank>http://utukki.keenspace.com</A> ) Can anyone recommend a good free message board service elsewhere until the problem is fixed? I've been looking, but can't seem to find anything acceptable.Thanks!

Whatever you do, do NOT go with BoardNation. There, the tech support is horrible, and recently the guy who runs the whole thing went and deleted over 6,000 boards just because the server was getting slow. No warning to back up or anything.I recommend getting a bit of webspace on a service that allows CGI script, and going with an Ikonboard. That's what I've done with WIMHA. It's a sub-forum on my larger Village Mist Forums. It's fast, reliable, and I know that it won't get deleted unless I delete it.------------------
