Hmmm.... I think we're going to have to table the blind dates until next year. (Or just push it back to the beginning of June. *shrug*) As much fun as it'll be, there are only four interested so far. (well, five if you count me...) I may get some extras with a new thread for it, but I don't think there will be enough to make an event in time for Valentines. I'm going to put up the official announcement for the spring one this afternoon. That will give it 2 and a half months to get advertised, so there shouldn't be a problem with not having enough entries. Let me know if you want to do the blind dates for a June event, and if you do I'll make the official post for it too so we can really get lots of people involved.

YES! Blind date for June is good. Actually, Blind date for any month is good, so long as it's done. ^__^

Hmmm.... Actually... A White Day event might not be such a bad idea... I could sketch something up for that right now, and I'd run the event if I had a comic, but alas...Catrine Posted: Mon Jan 27, 2003 6:23 pm Post subject:

If Valentine's was the original date idea, but is too close, you could always try for White Day. That'd be a suitably anime-ish thing to do.
Guns, anyone? <img src="http://www.upperdeckleague.com/BDK/html ... smilie.gif">StarWarrior Posted: Wed Jan 22, 2003 4:20 am Post subject:

That sounds like a really good idea. Does anyone here remember off the top of their head the date that White Day is celebrated? I can look it up later too.

Okay, I just looked at my calendar.
It's an import Di Gi Charat calendar, mind, and I can't read Japanese, but I can tell you that there are no days with labels on them following the fourteenth of February.
The only date marked in March is March fourteenth. And, unless I remember my Fruits Basket incorrectly, White Day is in March. Fear my deductive skills!
You'll probably want to double check that anyway.
. . . I could watch Fruits Basket again. Will that help?

Since I already have the KeenIME Spring Break in April, it'd be way to close to do another event right on top of it in March. I think the blind dates will have to wait for now. We now have three events slated for this year already, and I thought there was also mention of a possible summer event. If we pack too many events right on top of each other someone's will get left out, and that would probably hurt KeenIME's reputation. For now I'm going to concentrate on getting Spring Break well set, and it should give me a better idea of what it will take to set up the blind date event later.
