Overwrite indextemplate.html

Would it be devistating if I overwrited the indextemplate.html file in the public directory of my site?

there isn't an indextemplate in public_html, you can overwrite the one in workspace without fear. However you can potentially mess up a lot of stuff by changing stuff in public_html

so um if i want to like change a character page, i would have to delete it and reload it since it would be in the public_html right.

yeah, while the cgi's down just change the page then reupload it, overriding the old one

now my one question is what the freak is a folder named w doing in /public_html/... maybe it's where webpages will be put from now on ;)

The w folder contains files created by your weeklytemplate.html file if you have one. Basically if you want to have a weekly archive with say all the comics for that week you can. Still this will mean reduced page views from those who choose to browse the weekly archive.
