Which Final Fantasy is best??

I never played the original Final Fantasy. FF7 was the first Final fantasy I ever played. I also picked FF7 because 8 and up were too easy to beat. The one w/ Terra, Edgar, Locke, Celes, etc... was my absolute favorite but it wasn't on the list...(and if it was I am not even sure whcih number it would be under due to the confusion when the games were brought over...)

I'm such a FF virgin..

The first one I tried was VII through the recommendations of several people on a board recently, and I loved it.

Should I head up in the series, or backtrack to VI?

Head up on VIII and the other higher ones. Personally I'm just a good old fashioned FFIII and FFI but *shrug* FFX is also amazing! ^^ Hee I like them all too much.

Yeah, the one with Terra and Locke is 3/6. I forget which it is in America and which in Japan. I'd have to say that's my favorite, because I'm game console-impaired, and SNES games are the only kind I can safely and easily download. Oh yeah, and...death to Celes! *hisses*

Ahh... Company that knows of FF3.....
Celes isn't so bad! It's true she can't sing for anything, but she has a good role.
Personally, I'm pro Relm and pro Terra.

HELL YA!!! relm's portrait ability is great against powerful enemies... it also glitches the game when used against a certain dinosaur... (not sure about in the remake tho.)

I'm not sure about all copies of FF6, but my cousin had a really glitchy copy that, when you used sketch anywhere just outside the Northern Forest in the World of Ruin (with all the Tyranosaurs in it), it turned a couple of your party members into moogles, and one into General Leo. (Who was able to use an attack called Sneeze to heal the whole party, hehe.) Ahh, glitches are fun.

it ended up giving me all kinds of weapons and stuff like that. i never got any weird chars or attacks tho. god i love that game. i cried when celes jumped. ;_;

FF3/6 is my fav ^_^ It's also the only one I've really played...but that's besides the point! I still haven't finished it ^_^; mmm....Terra......Celes..... *purrs happily*

heheh i just found an old post i made about glitching the game, for anyone who's interested, here's how:

there are two really easy ways of doing this: 1) take a party that consists of gau & relm (and anyone else) onto the veldt and have gau jump a monster, then when he comes back, have relm sketch him both before and after he speaks. this will cause the game to go nuts. run from battle and everything will be back to normal. until you look in your item menu. you should have tons of rare items, including the best weapons, armor and accessories in the game!

2) the other way is to take relm into that forest where there's all those dinosaurs and just keep having her sketch them. every now and then, the game will glitch. run from battle and you've got all kinds of cool stuff. also, sometimes gau or someone else is equipped with a phoenix down! and occassionally you lose some items, so make sure you haven't lost anything important before you save. both of these tricks only work in the world of ruin.

That would be cool if it works (and doesn't ruin the save). I have a near-perfect game and it's always irked me that I missed every last opportunity to get the Genji Glove. Wonder if that'd be on the list of stuff you get from the glitch. >.>

FFVII is the best, in my highly biased opinion, heh. ^^;; Proof comes in the form of RP more than anything else I've seen. At any time, there are likely more FFVII RP on AOL than any of the rest combined. Of course, proof is very biased, considering I'm a Sephiroth x Cloud fangirl. x_x;; ^^;; Wait, what was this supposed to be about? Hmmm, bishonen... n/m.

there's no way outside of "resurrecting" leo outside of the use of a gameshark. and what morph does is it changes an enemy into an item if it's the killing blow.
