If anyone wants to be added, removed, put in, or added into another place, post here and I'll make the changes.^_^

right now we have a few options open on the table before we even get into the plot. Do we want to do this by e-mail, or forum. I vote that we should ask Kelly if she'll allow us to have a forum for the writing open on the top bar full time until we're done. there's already a "sticky" topic up there, so it be awesoem if we could have one too. Along with that, I think we should have a topic in the regular part for discussion and comments on how it's going thus far.

next we have to decide if we're going to do this one of two ways...or if there are any other ways. So far, the decision comes between making a comic of the story, or writing a regular story/fan fic that has a picture corresponding to each page.

We could also make multiple shorter fan fic/stories, but with taht decision we still need to know the format first. Whateer format we decide, we can go from there to decide what to do with this one if we want it this way.

You guys already know how I feel about this if you've read my last comment in Arcana Collaborations, so I won't take up more room in this LOOOOONG post.^_^; *laughs*

so what do you guys think? I know I'm throwing a lot out, sorry, I'm just a very organized person.^_^; *laughs* tell me if I'm being a bit too strict okay?

I can de-sticky the old fanfic that's already stickied up at the top of the forum (It's been almost a month since anyone's posted anything in it, and this is a similar idea anyways), and make a sticky post of the actual collaboration, once you guys get it underway. I'm sure you'll want to share it with everyone, so that'd be a good idea, to have it sit up there while you work on it. ^^ (Hey, it's not like I have any other important announcements or anything up there.

As for the commenting... keeping something like that to email would be kinda dull.

By the time this gets going, some of the extra collab threads should (*should*) have fallen off the first page of the forum, so an extra comment thread wouldn't be too much of a nuisance. Or, you can always edit the title of an existing topic and make that into the comment thread. ^_^

As for the actual format, I think a comic-type thing would be more effective than a page of text with a picture corresponding to it. With a comic you tell the story with the pictures as well as text, where as in a picture book the pictures are complementary. It would be more work, true, but the overall effect will be more...dramatic.

Sort of like a musical, we'd hit them from both sides.

Kave Straye, lol true enough.^_^ it would be a lot more work, but it would be more dramatic as well.^_^ the only hardship with that is how we'd split up the work for the artists. Would we have one artist draw one page of comic and take turns like that until it's finished? Splitting it up any other way would be kind of difficult.^_^;

*giggles* and Jakunen, not a prob.^_^ I'm sure there are lots of people who'd be willing to read it.^_^

I think that the plot making process would go a lot faster if we all met somwhere at the same time, either here or in a chat room.

yeah, that would be awesome.^_^ We need to figure out the format before anything, but with it being the holidays and people getting 3 weeks of hw for a 2 week break, not many people seem to be around anymore.^_^;

hmm... if we use a chat program and just make a large room or something for everyone, which would we use? I have msn. that could work.^_^

lol okay, sorry if it's a bit confusing.^_^

basically, read the first post in this topic. the questions posted there are the ones we still need answers to.^_^ people are busy this time of year and I haven't really gotten more than maybe 2-3 oppinions on this. I need more of a group decision before we can continue onto the plot and THEN we can do the fun part.^_~ lol

we need to decide a format. Here are the choices so far:

"story book": basically, for each page of fan fic, an artist does one picture to go along with it. Each artist gets at least one picture to draw.

comic: we do an actual comic OF the fan fic. here we'd have to write the story first, and then start with one artist doing one page and then pass it to another artist who does the next page, and so on until the story/comic's done.

one is more a fan fic and one is more a traditional fan comic.^_^

We need more votes on this before we can continue.^_^ heh, man, I really hope i'm not being too organized about this...or annoying anyone by being so.^_^;

and what's this about the chat board?^_^ sounds fun. If you can find it, we can see if we can set a time and day for everyone to get together so we can discuss. yay!^_^ *laughs*

I have an idea about the group story. I thought that each of us could make up our own character, and then we could make a comic with everybody's character. The writers could of course write it and the artists could supply the drawings. Jazzgirl started this topic called Does anyone know how to... we could find a time and all gather there to work out ideas for the story. I also started a topic called Get to know each other and I would really appreciate it if everyone would respond to it. Thankies>

Original characters would fit in fine. The character can be whatever you want it to be.

Personally, I want Holden to be with a person or two, but I want him to end up with Dominik.^_^ I don't know what you guys want with original characters, do you want them at all? But we should have the main Arcana characters in there as this IS a fan fic.^_~ lol

It seems like we're going more towards an original comic than a fanfic.

My idea: Seeing as this is a fanfic, I think original characters should be kept to a minimum. But seeing as I'm getting my planning hat on here, why don't we have two here? and original comic and a fanfic.

lookie, finally adding my what-for into this, ok, one: yes, I thought this was a FANFIC about Arcana, which means, we use Arcana characters...I think if we want original then we'd have to either do the two comic idea, or drop the fanfic all together.

two: I think that the traditional fan comic is the way to go, we can go the other way, but honestly guys, do we read picture books or manga?

three: I think we SHOULD get together and chat this, Kitty gave the link, I think we should try to think of a time we can get together and talk this out, I believe that is where we should be offering plot ideas, easier to immediately alter and combine them to each other then trying to do it by forum posts.

four: this is a good idea, but I believe the point of this is to create a combined comic that we all do from scratch....lets stop bringing our other stories into it? that may just be my feelings, I'm sure all your other stories are great, no doubt of that, lets just create a new one is all

Thats all I have to say, I'm sorry if I offended anyone, this is just my opinion, realize that. I love this idea, and I hope we can get it rolling well
