what do you think will be better readon 9700 or geforce-fx?

I dont know enough for a decent comparison but i _really_ like the nVidia gl extensions. Shitloads better than the ATI ones, at least where it counts. But once again im new to gl. The fx will probably end up slaughtering everything else (except maybe whatever 3dlabs have in their r&d) but it'll have the price tag to go with it ... at least those are my thoughts ...

I would have to say the GeForce FX GPU will be alot better than the Radeon 9700 GPU. But of course an instance of price concerns lots, the GF FX will be at least $1,000+ where the r9700 is only $700 and dropping slowly. Will most likely drop really fast when the FX comes out. Which isnt long. Either way. FX still owns.
