To put it succinctly, the worm's turned. While Ben's preoccupied trying to squeeze some information out of a couple of attorney drones, who should come along to rescue him?
I'll say one thing. Lily's certainly no Venus De Milo. ('cause she's got arms!)
(a shame the action didn't happen in the big top. Then it would be intense)
Honesty is the best policy, but insanity is a better defence.
Heh, the moment I've been waiting for. Naturally, Ralph WOULD make this a Friday strip.
Although the sound effect on panel 3 is confusing - wouldn't that be more appropriate for a projectile weapon than a laser cannon (which, I presume, is what the BFG Lily's holding is).
(looks back at previous strips) Oh, wait, that was the OTHER gun. Never mind.
Mandolin (aka Chaos)

Arms? She's got great LEGS, man!!! Ralph, I don't think you've ever drawn her more beautiful than that!
Anyways, interesting plot we see here: the ship she was in just *happened* to be headed/passing next to the planet Ben was in, and they *happened* to land in the city the circus was in...
Nah, too many coincidences. I'm sure Lily could have used the ship's computer (or had the pilot do it for her) to search for Ben.
But still, I wonder where the Posse went with all their weapons...
There's only so many ways to brace yourself to fire a large, heavy weapon while standing upright, but yeah... anyway, if they're going to stay in the Schlockiverse for a little while longer, can Lily become one of the "Toughs"? Just for a while... Let her destroy a few more lawyer clones...
Is anyone else wondering where the shuttle pilot might be?

[WARP!!!]
As I read it, the lawyer clones had Lily onboard and were heading to that planet because Ben was there. It was part of a plot to coerce Ben into sueing Tagon's Toughs, whom the lawyer clones do not greatly admire.
In the meantime, Petey is still gibbering in space with a crew of clowns - or not.
I'm wondering how Lily managed to go from this to this. You have to admit, even with all the... stress she's been under lately, she made quite an attitude shift.
I've been ... kidnapped by giant talking snakes, and woken up buck naked in a vat of lime Jell-o. I'm dressed in rags, covered in slime, my hair is ruined, that cute outfit I found is gone, and I'm getting my period.
...so why be surprised that she's reaching for the nearest implement of mass perforation, let alone using it?
"Do Impure thoughts count?" "No, only acts of will."
"What about acts of ineptitude?" "A grey area, and don't tell me you haven't lived in that twilight before."
"Most of my life... Not that I haven't leaped up into the blinding light of competence now and then. It's sustaining the altitude that defeats me."

Hello folks, I have finally decided to de-lurk. In response to Elliot's last post "Fire in the hole" is a term used to warn people in the vicinity of live explosives that are about to detonate.
As for lilly, while the change from gun hater to willing, even eager, gun user is a bit sudden I think that she has discovered the joy of BLAM. I just wish that this was a daily strip so that I didn't have to wait two days to find out what is going to happen next, but with three strips I can see why Ralph has to balance the load a little.
