I actually have the opposite opinion...I am really sick of fantasy comics throwing in an Elf or Dwarf just so they can an obligatory D&D/Tolkien reference... (HEHEHE, THEY GOT POINTY EARS. SO KAWAII ^_^)
An all human fantasy comic, in my opinion, would be a welcome breath of fresh air.

Yes there will be different species. However.... NO elves or orcs or dwarves or fairys or whatever the hell sort of slightly-altered humans have been overly used before.
I'm talking more along the lines of anthros and... well, something else I'll mention later.
And maybe a mermaid or two! *cackles*
The anthros are pretty cool. There's only two anthro species (so far) anyways. No, they're not fox-people or cat-people... those are SO over-used. XP
