Is there any truth to the rumor that one of your storylines was loosely based on Neil Gaiman's short story "Shoggoth's Old Peculiar?"

And no, none of TCoW is (consciously) based on Neil Gaiman . The only Neil Gaiman that I've read is Good Omens and Stardust. "Shoggoth's Old Peculiar" sounds interesting though...
