By the way.....(again)

Why does it seem like I'm the only one who ever writes here anymore? Times were you couldn't throw a rock without it bouncing off of another forumites head.

I try as often as I can, but I'm up at 5am for work, then running around until 6 or 7 pm, when I get to sit down with the strip until 10 or 11pm...and lately my weekends have been booked for me. I'm glad at least SOMEone's posting, though! Maybe you can be the official forum guardian...

It is my experience that after an extended hiatus, it can take a while for boardies to getback into posting regularly.

Well, I'm still around, and reading through the forums. I just don't like to post unless I have something mildly interesting (to me, at least) to say. So, to say something mildly interesting:

Something mildly interesting.

:D :D :D

I couldn't resist.

I'm still here.

I just wish we had this many people posting on Snowflake's board.

I've been at Universal Studios Orlando for the past week. But now I'm back, and so are my futile attempts at off-beat humor!

I ususally want to fell I'm posting something of interest myself.
The only thing I can come up with right now is that the new Canadian 5 dollar bill has been released, I personally like it.
Now I'm feeling stupid that I'm going to post this.... oh well. :-?

Currency

Post by ZOMBIE USER 1159 »

Wow, that was a much more positive response then I expected. I don't have one to scan right now, so a link to the Bank of Canada's page on the bill will have to do:
http://www.bankofcanada.ca/en/banknotes ... 01_05f.htm
and try this page on accessibility features and the handheld bank note reader! Somebody was opening up a can of ingenuity when they designed our currency!

Very cool! So when's the US gonna put something cool like playing kids on OUR currency? All we get are dead guys and buildings.

I just wish we could get different colors for our bills like other countries do. Why is all of our money green? Like South Korea, they have pink 1000s, orange 5000s and green 10,000s.

(FYI Korean money is like Japanese money: They only have one unit, the won, instead of two like our dollars and cents. Thus 1000 won is equivalent to approximately one dollar.)
