This is the first I've seen of ANY 'Jack' animation. Are the voice tryouts still going? Will the tryouts be posted on the website for others to hear?

Holy shit. That music fucking RULES.

What is it?? I MUST KNOW.

Eugh.. Hey, do you think you'll let me send up my voice tryouts again? Listening back, they... ehh.. suck. -.- And both sound the same. Although, actually, I don't really intend to voice Jack or Drip [I don't really have the right tone for either of them]... Um.. N'Stuff.

oh, pretty good ineed...but, we need a flash exspert here that knows animation...if i could actauly draw semi decently i would do something in flash, you can make some fairly decent animation and specail effects with musci ect and only take up to 3 megs for a minute.

I'll look into this idea, i think it would be very possible to animate some demo strips, i'll choose a short and see what i can do with some simple effects and motion...

i'll get back to ya, but this is way past cool if you ask me.

One Problem i have is lack of flash knowlage.I can work within it,but im more versed in using video editing and effects software then flash.A flash expert on staff would be extremely helpful for things like shortcuts and such.

Heh,people like the music?

I have enough of a wild hair up my ass to upload my album to the website.

The title is Big Tw,dusting off the graves again, and its mixture of rock parody songs, orginal stuff, and some instrumentals.

ill put some samples up.

A side note to all of this, the jack you saw in the trailer is a 70% sure design,so if thats any indication of what the movie will look like, thats one.

Anyway,i gots work,seeyalls!

Hmmmmm...

Well, so far, the total tally for voice try-outs is an incredible one. One single audition for the part of jack. For those folks that are planning to send them in, if I don't get them by the end of Tuesday, they won't be uploaded until April 10th.

*is in the process of downloading the teaser/trailer* I wish I had a better flash program than I do! *wails* I have firestarter, would prefer director and wish I could afford Maya! (I'm a 'wannabe' animator...I can do it, but it takes so much time!) I don't have a good voice for anyone (I think) Maybe I should send something in (since you've only mentioned one person?)

BTW: on that note, is there anything set down as part of the tryouts?

*realizes this is the most she's said so far on the forum and dives under a table to be certain no one is going to start throwing things at her*

Just thought you'd like to know... they're releasing a free version of Maya <A HREF="http://www.aliaswavefront.com/en/Tmpl/M ... l">here</A>. It's all perfectly legal, so no worries about licensing... Alias|Wavefront is apparently trying to drum up developer interest in their products. Their servers aren't the best tho, so it may take a while to get in & dl the package.

(Bah! I had this all typed in and realized too late I had typed in my name wrong! Of all things...)

Oooo...Free is good, but not for me. Apparently they don't have a version for Windows 98. I guess I'll have to wait and see if they come out with a version or go and convince my brother that he needs to let me have his unused copy of Windows2000...

Oh, and are there only two speaking parts in the movie? Or are there going to be more later? *Has watched the preview and is patiently waiting for more* This is gonna be the reason I finally buy a CD-Burner.

There will be more speaking parts,as i have time to post them.Something which is important to me is keeping elements of the story a suprise, and ill be posting a child tryout and female tryout on the page soon.

But i will be picking the voices out of the group for parts other than what they tried out for.keep that in mind, just because you didnt get a posted part, doesn't mean you wont get consideration for something else.

The big thing is once out cast is chosen, and the script finished, everyone who is involved gets a copy of the script, but anyone who posts the script anywhere online or gives it to a friend will be kicked off the production.Im not being mean,i just want everyone who is going to be watching this get a kick out of the twists and the story.

Have you noticed that Jack is changing our lives? The comic makes you think about things you haven't thinked before. The comic makes you try to create art and animation. The comic helps you make friends all over the world.
