Excellent...!

...although, yeah, the file's a bit big for 33 seconds. Is that due to the audio or the graphics streaming?

Also, will the movie be done in Flash or MPEG?

Five qustions :

1)Is Dave involved in the idea of making the movie?
2)Will Jack the movie be the same as Jack the comic?
3)Who writes the script?
4)Do they consult with Dave about how the movie should look like?
5)Will Dave get his $$$? (I sure hope so, he deserves it. )

Hmmm...
Doesn't really seem like a 'for profit' venture. However, it would be cool if it happened to hit it big and make millions of dollars! No wait, billions, yeah!

Thanks for the compliments,
and i apologise for the file size,im a stickler for quality in the sound and picture,so its a broadband only thing right now.

Someone asked about the money issue.Im not doing this for money, and if it were to come to it that this could make money,Dave will get the lions share of the cash, but as i said,im not even dreaming of money right now.

The software and hardware being used on this project is:

computer: windows 2000, 512 meg ram,90 gigs space,Dual P3 800.

Software: Flash 4,flash 5, Pinnacle systems commontion 4.0,Premier 6.0,Filmfx,Soundforge,and Vegas.

If it seems to have a Spawny feel to it,might be im drawing inspiration from the spawn cartoon,it being one of the few successful "dark and creepy" pieces to come out in years.

As for the music in the trailer,i composed it,but its just 2 hours work in acid,no biggie.I wish it would've sounded better, but hey, thems the breaks.

Anyway, keep your eyes on the site, more to come,MUCH more to come in the next months.

Anyone who makes it to the Mephit furmeet this year will get a advanced look at the continuing progress of the film, since ill be a booth bitch once again.

Well,i guess i can answer the rest of the questions, ive covered the money thou.

1.Dave is inspiration, but im pretty much taking this in a direction i think he would like.

2.No,the movie will be a self-contained entity, not effecting the continuty of the story.(that way,if characters die in the movie, they live on the strip, get me?)

3.Currently,Im writing the script with the help of a few local screenplay scribes.

4.Again,im pretty much taking this my own way, keeping with the feel of the comic, but driving down my own path.A good example would be the music,a moody, dark score, with a little hans zimmer thrown in for boom.

5.If theres any money to be made,Dave will get the cash he deserves, period.

I wish you good luck with it. I wish you that the movie will bring you, Dave and all your friends all the fame and money you deserve.
