Keenspace Logo

I'm just curious... have we ever considered changing the Keenspace logo?

I'm looking at it, and I just can't take it seriously. It's yellow, red, and black.. on black. It reminds me of the colors used to make color ads in the 70s when palettes were limited. Not to mention the white alias jaggies along the bottom.

I don't mean to offend anyone.. but it would be interesting to maybe have a contest for people to submit logos and then vote on which is the best, and replace the official logo with it.

Maybe I'm just ranting.. A RANTING SWEEEDE!

they could at least change it to look ok on a black background for the forums, rather than having that ugly white edge. Or they could change it to something radically different. They could let me draw it! That's brilliant! Hahaha, actually I vote against myself doing it, since I am devoid of "art" skills. I nominate Sylvan! Yeah I know this is just a crazy idea and there's no actual nomination stuff, but oh well.

How about...

You make them a new logo and sent it to someone important. If they like it they'll probably use it it.

Eh, the logo itself is fine. You might take off those white jaggies, but most of your complaints could be taken care of by anyone with some photoshop skills. I have no photoshop skills, and so will not be attempting to improve upon it myself.

I saw that too, I think something is going silly at Keenspace again, I was able to go there myself last night, and this morning it doesn't show up, along with all the other Keenspace comics I've tried

I like Psiogen's banner, it makes Keenspace look so much fancier, and we all know that the only thing that matters is how fancy Keenspace's logo makes it look

actually, what should happen is that we should actually get a hold of one of the Keenspace personages and ask them if they actually want to change the logo, I'm all for it personally, considering I haven't liked it since I started reading Keenspace comics

Great logos! Yeah, the current one is a little...lacking. I'll give it this, though, it does have contrast going for it. Red, yellow, and black are one of the most visible color combinations out there. Yellow and black (bees, hazzard signs, caution tape), and yellow and red (McDonalds, Hardees) especiallially. So that was a smart more. Personally, I prefer a lot of blues, but I can respect that aspect of it. This isn't to say a change wouldn't be cool...it is a little plain.

I, Ummm, like the logo myself... Sorry...

But it just has a very 'comic' feel, it's very right for a thing that makes or has comics. As good as the other logos are, I think they just don't give the Keenspot comic feel, they'd look good on a Dark Comic but dark comic art/logos can be associated with lots of other things. Art, Music, movies, but not comics as they are classically known.

I say; If you're gonna' make a new logo, make sure it's retro and make sure it feels comicy.

Meh, just my opinion...
