I came along this comic not too long ago, following links in my Keenspace statistics. Never before have I seen such a comic that displays explicit sex, yet seems so... so... wholesome at the same time. It's like Robert Crumb and Dr. Seuss joined forces or something. Keep up the good work Richard. You've earned yourself another reader.

Welcome aboard
If you stroll through my forum you will find
that I've stated that as my intention from
the very first - to create a comic that is
quite explicitly yiffy but without automatically
assuming that sexuality is something that
should be regarded as something base and
shameful or negative in any way. Nor do I
ever want to insult my readers intelligence
by taking "the easy way out" and assume that
having explicit content in my comic means that
I need not think twice about personality.
Kit & Kay are quite 'real' in my imagination,
and there is a certain way they will and won't
behave. As my comic goes on I hope to have
more characters to demonstrate more possibility
for characterization. I am having fun creating
my little comic and even more fun knowing my
readers are enjyoing it. I couldn't ask for
any more of a lucid readership than I have now.
The few brief opinionated idiots who insisted
on coming back over and over to a site they
hated and griped in email have long since
departed, and good riddance. Enjoy your stay.

That's probably why I'm as taken with this comic as I am. The portrayal of sex as a normal and rather beautiful thing, as opposed to being "naughty" as the prudes in society wish us to believe. The whole idea of this comic just goes along with what I've been saying for years. ^_^

You and I and (if my forum is any indication)
quite a few others. I used to wonder how it
was that censorship types could get away with
branding anything so natural (and vital!) as
sexuality as something negative and shameful,
then I began to examine the manner in which
it tends to be presented in mainstream media.
Why does it have to be given a salatious and
"naughty" packaging for it to sell? Why is
there such a phrase (and mindset behind the
phrase) as "sex and violence"? What should be
so inherantly violent about sex that the two
concepts should be inextricably linked? I
used to wonder about things like this... now
that webcomics exist, I get to work freely
with my own concepts and present them to an
audience... and since I've started I've
receieved practically nothing but positive
comments and praise. What little negativity
I used to get came from minds who were
probably going to be outraged anyway. So
either I'm just incredibly lucky or people
are not as dumb as the mainstream hucksters
think...

Hello KatEllis, from another new reader. I just wanted to say how much my mate and I *both* like your comic. Since neither of us are really into furries in a yiffy way, the point is that your work has universal appeal. *applauds*

I found you by being a big fan of GC, and then exploring some of his guests's art (mainly ItaX's & Karma's). That said, I shouldn't post here too often, my fursona is still too young to be here!

I could rant on and on about this. I don't watch much TV anymore, because of rubbish like that. Who wants to see more sex, when it portrayed this way? Not me! Apparently the mainstream public does though, because that's what sells. There are all kinds of cultural, societal, religious reasons for the typical American's feelings about sex. Hey, how many of us had to become un-brainwashed from those ourselves? Of course its natural and vital, but, a lot of conditioning goes into making people believe otherwise. I can't speak for anyone else, but I really wish my own country would pull its collective head out. I'm not enjoying the recent "shock-value" trend in our media, but I hope its at least making people think.

Um, OK I ranted a bit there...thanks dude, for making a great comic! ^__^

::Eeeps:: That's sorta the reason I'm careful
about posting on the Big G's forum... he's
got quite a few readers that might not be
quite suitable for my comic. But I admire
Gene a HUGE bunch... he's taught me more
about character construction and gestures
than anyone else I've ever met! He and Pepe
Val Pew were the two artists I was primarily
thinking of when I spoke of the webcomic
artists that inspired me to try a big story.

Hey, I could hardly complain, since you spoke
of the very things that pointed me towards
creating a comic of my own. I am very
honored that it's appeal has made its way to
you... even if you might be a bit too young
to be here in a technical sense, you clearly
have more than enough maturity to make up
your own mind.

True story,
I was introduced to the comic with that scrotor thing and while I was reading the past strips my brother was playing FFX at the time. Well long story short he got the sceene where Tidus makes out with Yuna. While this song played Suteki DA NE (Isn't It Wonderful) I was reading the end to the boinkberry saga.
Damn't!@#% Now every time I hear that song It makes me remember your comic
keep up the good work!

I really need to seek help

Is it scary that I have that actually MEMORIZED?

Seriously. I originally got the transliteration off a website, but have months since memorized it.

  Heehee...I have four mp3s of that song. Two (one with and one without lyrics) from the CD single that was put out with a vocal reorchestration of Aeris's theme (from FF7) called Pure Heart, and two from the OST; one of which was the orchestrated final track, and the other the original.

I really like the "special songs" that come out with the more recent Final Fantasies: Eyes on Me, Melodies of Life, Suteki da Ne. Not to mention others, like Small Two of Pieces (from Xenogears) or Love Will Grow (from the Love Will Grow Final Fantasy Vocal Collection) or Kami no Yurikago (ditto)...oh, there're so many. I like the music. I have got to get FFX and a Playstation 2 to play it on.

Erm...I'll stop right there. <---a little tired, now...

Oh GREAT...

I'm probably going to have the same sort of association now...

I've been playing the "Summoned Beast Battle" track from FFX, while finishing up my term paper. Over and over again...because it's a very rapid rhythm, and it seems to make me work faster. Now I'm probably going to associate the two...
