You. Are. Depressimg me. I've got TONNES of unread books. Think I have time to read them? *ugh* Nope. School, school, school. And then, when I'm not in school, I'm taking care of sick chinchers...
Mrr... Last I read was... Oh, yes, the books in the guest room... I think a few of them are translated, but I can't remember the names of the authors on the top of my head... S

just finished Lamb by Chris Moore. Thinking of giving Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove another shot, too.
currently working on The Day of Creation by J.G. Ballard, occasionally slogging Orlando by Virginia Woolf (I'm not afraid! I'm not afraid!), A Density Of Souls by Chris Rice, and Hollywood by Gore Vidal.
this is apart from geek nonfiction and o'reilly books i happen to pick up...

not sur what to say. I liked it when I was younger. Have the other two in the series. Got them all for Christmas. I would really like to read* Susan Cooper's book series.
edit: re-read.

Just finished (re)reading Starship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein. Never realized it in the couple of times I'd read it before, but Heinlein's a nutcase. There's a little bit of Libertarian in all of us, I think, and I love the book, but I wouldn't like living in his world. I don't do well on the Social Darwinism scale.
I think I'll read Joe Haldeman's The Forever War to even out. It's the anti-Starship Troopers, despite the almost identical subject matter (down to the collective-mind aliens).
I also have James Clavell's Shogun in the queue.

Swords, sorcery, heroes, villains, and serious discourse on the socio-political issues facing our modern society.
Oh, and talking animals.

just finished Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk.
Reading the novel (about 208 pages, really) is interesting, since the movie was a really good translation, and the important plot-bits hold together in the written form.
