Well... it seems that Keenspace has blown up.

The page did not update as it should this morning, and the member login to 'force update' the page errors out.

So here...

Yeah... I went in and editted the file in an area of Keenspace that's supposed to be off limits to the casual cartoonist.

But, if they didn't want me in there... they really shouldn't make it available via FTP.
**grins**

Of course, when the site maintenance application comes back online, I'll have to delete the files I modified, reupload the images, and let it redo those files for me... so that everything works properly.

Welcome back!

On behalf of us short folk, though, I'd like tae say ... I'm not a welcome mat!! {tickles Woody's kneecaps} (oh, but it IS so true in many zones, I know)

Of course, when *I* die, I find much, much more creative places to die than at a zone-line, like deep in Ssra, in Yelniak's lair, etc. :wink:

Reminds me that I want to send you a screenshot, Woody. Methinks you'll get a giggle out of it.

I remember one of my first trips through Butcherblock mountains.. where upon I stumbled across the corpse of some fiendish looking Lizard fellow and wondering what the heck that was.. After a week, the dead-lizard fellow finally disappeared.

Two days later, it was back. Repeat process three or four times.

As near as I can figure, there was some player who would get crud all gear on his character, run through Butcherblock until he found a guard and die. Just to leave a corpse for a week.

Join Povar they say, it's a nice normal server they say.. ^_^;;

I found this comic extremely timely, as it seemed everywhere I went the two days prior to the comic I would see a dead halfling, dwarf or gnome (mostly halflings) at the zone border. Just one dead body, laying there forlornly, usually two steps away from the zone.

I was starting to wonder if the welcome mat theory were true!

And for the D.O.G.s out there, Alyys the Necro is back! (just not on sullon zek)
