I see, and super keen is for my other request.
I wonder if there's a strip that answers both my questions....
------------------

I'm looking for two styles of strips, and since browsing through keenspace's 1500+ list is above my capabilities, I thought of asking for consult here.
the first thing I look for, is Superheroes. And I mean that in the classical, Marvel/DC meaning. not "captain amazing and his mothball calamity" parody, or anything in the matter. I want real superheroes
The other thing is that I'm looking for a story. I know the majority of the strips have a story, but it's usually more in the sit-com manner of "here are our heroes, they live here, and do this", and nothing more
I'm thinking of a more continuing plot, like with Schlock mercenary Clan of the Cats or Floor 13 (flash)
thanx in advance.
------------------

For a continuing plot, look at Rogues of Clwyd-Rhan or any of the comics that are on the "epic" dropdown menu which you will find at the bottom of the ROCR home page (and of course on all the other comics pages that are on the "epic" list. For more information about the various dropdowns go to The Gear Dropdown Depot. These simple little menus can really help you sort through the Keenspace comics).
------------------

...you want a strip with a story? Read mine. Go ahead. It's fairly new, so you can jump on early, and it's story driven. VERY story driven. So story driven, as a matter of fact, that it's a year long, and then it ends. It has all been written.
...and I'm attempting t'take twistyness t'new levels with it.
------------------

Ya drive a hard bargain Mr...
I'm actually going to give all the "epic" strips a go, so I'll just hop to yours as well
------------------

My strip has an epic story, to the point of compromising the jokes. Well, with the exception of this week's (until Sunday the 17th when a new comic goes up), it's almost nothing but story! http://glickglidewell.keenspace.com
Also, I recommend the superhero strip "Protection", http://protection.keenspace.com . It's humorous, but I think you'd like it.
------------------

I don't have problem with jokes, in fact one of the better strips I read is Floor13 (http://floor13.keenspace.com)
which manages to be both funny and have a good story.
The problem begins when ALL the strips out there are pun based, in the manner of synidcated comics, which are designed with little to no continuation.

Though on hiatus, a good story-comic is Zap Jones. The artist, Caleb, is currently working on a few other comics that will be on Keenspace soon, but says he will get back to Zap.
~dave
------------------
