Except for the palm trees it reminds me of the hotel in G-Burg where I used to work.

Well, I don't mean to sound wistful except about getting paid for something.

Ironically, Tim the Fanboy seems the most insightful in that one...
Harry's response was depressing... I'm not sure if that's the same as wisdom.

Rumy doesn't want Rikk looking at her sketches. Right after the hospital visit where their hands touched. You have to wonder what she is sketching...

Not to forcible drag you down memory lane, but what did you do at the hotel Pilot?

Ha speaking of which, this page reminds me of the trip I made with my friends to Boston in order to check out the collages there (of course the real reason deep in our heart of hearts was just to stay overnight on our own). But unlike the Fans, who choose to stay at a good hotel all in one room, we choose to stay in a dilapidated/dirty/weird Motel Six in a town called Braintree (Which was pretty much a highway) in pairs of twos. I cannot decide which is more comfortable.

Night Auditor/Front Desk Clerk. Nice work if you have a partner who sees things the way you do. Hell if you had to do what I wound up doing--three weeks of seven nights a week, all by myself at the height of the summer tourist season. No, I don't miss the job much.

Hey! I've stayed at that one myself! It's right next to the last T station on the line, right? My wife and I (she was my gf at the time) stayed there and tubed into Boston.

What can I say, it was cheap.

Ah, all those people stuffed into one room, sleeping on any flat surface available. It's the ONLY way for true fans to travel...

I used to go to an annual LARP with several friends, and we always rented one and only one room. The last year I went, our numbers had dwindled to three; the rest were all off to college (or in one case, boot camp). Not nearly claustrophobic enough. So we invited a fourth guy whom we knew only through previous games (he had screwed me over royally the year before, actually) to join us and save us all some cash.

Yep that is the one! When did you stay there? For me it was in 1999. We also took the tube into Boston (I am sure no one stays there to visit Braintree heh), but I regret that I only really got to see Boston University and not the rest of the city. From what I saw, the city seemed very beautiful; sort of like NYC, but only with smaller buildings and more trees.

As for the hotel, The first day we walked around for a good 15 min. trying to find it, we asked people in the street, people in the firehouse, we walked for blocks. After finally walking back to the station, we thought "hmmm maybe that hotel looking thing right there?" Turns out it was the Motel Six; damn thing has no signs on the outside. It was cheap, which is great since we really only wanted it as a place to pass out, but it was visibly dirty, and I have a germ phobia about hotels even when I can't see any dirt.

Haha, did you eat in that diner right next door? Now that place was bad, and yet always packed. This seems to be the mystery of diners.

Ah, memories.

GAH don't remind me. I'm going to BASH-con this weekend and i'm stuck in a large suite with like 8 people. Though i may do more at the con since there is an anime room this year. (I don't really larp though my other friends do.) But I'm at least getting a bed this year as i was supposed to get one last year (my condition on me making the reservations) but it was stolen last year.

Which brings up a question. How the hell is Rikk and Will gonna fit in that bed. Will isn't even partially in the bed and its practically full. Heck Rikk will end up falling onto rumi.

As for the drawing. It is most like a touching picture to give tommorow. though i figure she will either be dead when they arrive or shortly there after.

More likely Will will roll over and squash Rikk in the night...

Hellfire... why are there two empty posts above mine?

Ah, I deleted those easy enough...

President Adams was from Braintree. Well, Quincy, which used to be part of Braintree. I think the Adams family was a fascinating bunch (they were even weirder than the Addams family in some ways), but that may just be because I'm twisted enough to think Whiggish politics is nifty, so I won't bore you with details.

OK, so Will rolls over, squishes Rikk, then rolls off of the bed on top or Rumy who also gets squished. Wow, Rumy wins I guess, she got closer to Rikk than Alisin ever did (not counting Thrown Switch).

Wait, if Will rolled over TWICE then squished-Rikk would be on one side and squished-Rumy on the other. Awwwwww..........two bad! Dark day for Rumy/Rikk shippers but hey, maybe Shanna will be awoken by the noise and console the grief stricken Will as he's carted off to jail for homicide. Heyyyy........Shanna could probably help him escape prison, she did her own escape from the FiB after all. Then they'd have an exciting life on the road together, fighting any who'd threaten fandom or their love. Constantly chased by Agent Jones and Alisin for reasons that may or not be easy to explain.

After Will crushes Rikk and Rumy accidently due to his great size and strength he attempts to flee, Shanna helping him do to her great affection for him. Harry goes back to his military roots and heads up a task force to chase down and capture the dangerous giant. Tim, as a true rabid fanboy, attempts to learn how to steal the Will's strength and power or at least gain it for himself using the same process. At some point there could be a touching story arc where Shanna finds someone who she can get have a real relationship with, but when Harry almost catches Will she is forced to give up her love for her responsablity.
