Okay, so I'm sitting at my computer, I'm reading the fanfic sent to Zina on the ES sub-page, and I started thinking; **y'know, Zina says she wants to see more fanfics, and she's given us so many stories that are so cool... maybe I should give something back and write a fic of my own. I think I will. I want a cheese sandwich.** And so I started on one. But before I go and make a fool of myself, I'm going to put up a little of it here for some C&C. Fear the words, they have come for you!
THE STORY THUS FAR:
It was another cold day in Colorado. As usual, eight,
nine, and ten in the morning had come and gone with no
activity in the house. But when the clock struck
ten-thirty, all that changed to the tune of quick
footsteps.
Jance hurried into the living room, clicked on the TV,
and found a commercial on the channel he flipped to.
Relieved, he quickly dashed into the kitchen,
returning in a moment with a pack of pop-tarts and a
smile on his face. He sat patiently as the TV flooded
the room with images of deodorants and weight-loss,
munching the first of his two pastries and hardly
tasting it. He had been waiting weeks for the last
episode in the mini-series, and he was happy as a clam
that the day had finally come.
One could then imagine his disappointment when the TV
blurted

Wee! Zina gets a cookie!
:::
Having found nothing of interest on the shelves of the rental outlet, Jance continued his little stroll out the door. The earlier feeling returned, and somehow convinced him to turn, just as a sizzling bolt of light streaked by his head. Shaken, Jance looked around for its source. Catching sight of a shadowy figure in an alley running away, he took off at a run, hardly slowing until he

Well, I'll concede that Adams does some good stuff, but no, I'm not a fan.

Jance wondered, for the nth time that day, how he allowed himself to get mixed up in this idea. He walker toward town again, looking as casual as could be, while the other four Warriors trailed him a block or two away.

Somebody is definitely feeling inspired. But Elemental you're forgetting something very important: Who won the Tekken match?

You'll have to guess. I'm not gonna tell you! Ha ha!
Tip, though; if Max won, would he be docile about it, or shoving it in everyone's faces?

Actually I'd like to point out that when Max loses he's not docile. Outraged, indignant or having a fit, but not subdued in any shape or form. The only time I've seen Max muted is after he has screwed up (and realizes it) but before the consequences fall on him.
Hmmm.... I guess that means Max won.
------------------

No, he lost. If he'd won, he would be making a big deal out of it.I know he would.
