Hi guys.
Currently, there are problems with Keenspace. I cannot upload the new page tonight so I'll just try again tomorrow. Sorry about this. And if it is still no good, I'll probably post the new page elsewhere. My apologies.

------------------

Hi guys!
Well, the backgrounds look ok but look at sarren in the last panel! ARGGGHHH! I'll have to remedy that later. It just looks awful.
As for the camera angles, I think that's all I have going for me. I mean, in terms of backgrounds, look at Henry's work! 0_0 Gorgeous! Hey Henry. Do you use references for the cityscape or not? I'm really envious about the way you draw the city. Sigh. Wish I could draw something like that. And did you have a background in architecture?

------------------

hahaha... um.. yeh, my half-assed cityscapes... >.>
I don't use references - and my background isn't architectural. I do have an L-Square on my side though.
Hrmmm - its basically a clear plastic ruler shaped like an L. And its got grid marks on it - very cool for drawing right angles real fast, and is manufactured by C-Thru corporation.
Have you ever read "Perspective for Comic Books" by David Chelsea? That's an absolutely fabulous book on drawing perspective.
------------------

Ah, the plot thickens.
Keep up the good work. =)
I utterly despise backgrounds, I find I don't really have the patience for them. Not yet anyways. I try and rehash old backgrounds if possible.
Though my eye notes that the background in the current episode was cleverly done to perserve time =)
Seems the hallway seems a bit narrow, but hey one can blame the architect for that.

They do have wide hallways in the castle itself downstairs.

Heh. There are wider hallways inside this particular castle though. Anyway, this is fantasy. I can make it bigger than real life.

------------------

Actually, having taken a second look at it, the thing *is* a bloody highway; no castle
I've ever been to has had corridors that wide...

Could also be that there is a slight linguistical mistake; when I think of "castles" I tend to mean what would probably be correctly called "forts" or "keeps", ie. ones built solely for military use. Side effects of speaking a language which doesn't have different wirds for them, I suppose.
The residential castles of nobility and royalty may well be pretty silly in design, expensive in construction, wasteful in space and a lot of other things - double the above in fantasy environments where magic may be involved.
Incidentally, ever heard of a certain Ludwig II (I think), king of Bavaria ?
