Got mine this morning with Rogue leader and Wave race. It roxxors.
The gamecube is incredibly small. So small you have to see the thing to belive it. It is also nice and quiet, a bit mroe so than say dreamcast. Load times are almost on par with cartriges. I was able to get a black one which I am happy about.
review of gamecube unit: 9.8
Rogue leader is crazy fun with great graphics. I have found it to be pretty hard so far, but I'm sure I'll get better at it sooner or later.
my rating: 9.3
Wave race is bascily the same as the first version except with more riders, better graphics, and turbo boosts. It is a great game, the only problem is the controll can be a bit screwy at times.
my rating: 8.5
Can't wait for smash bros.

I would have gotten Monkey Ball rather than Waverace, but the Funcoland I went to didn't have it for some reason, rather than go elsewhere I just got Waverace instead. I still have enough to pick up Monkeyball should I desire to do so at a later time.

I got my Gamecube (a black one also) and it does kick ass. Rouge Leader is great, and I think the problem with difficulty comes from getting use to the new controller. That's the same problem I'm have with Super Monkey Ball. But now I have 5 days off of School and Work just to play gamecube.
I can't wait for Smash Bros. When it comes out, I shall rule the world with an iron fist! ::Runs up to a random person:: YOU! OBEY THE FIST!

Zim and Smash Bros. = the ultimate combo?
I would like to play as Gir almost as much as sonic or megaman in a smash bros. game.
Oh and I have it reserved, and will be sure to pick it up on Dec. 3 for crazy smashing action.
I hope the ducks from duckhunt are a playable character.

Its been two days since I got SSBM and I can safely say it's the best thing since sliced bread. Too bad the nerfed Link and Fox (thats my only complaint for now).
