I agree. The only way I can draw fighting poses is by having something posing it out for me. My mother to Paris for a whie and bought me loads of art supplies ( whee! chinese charcoal!! Oil painting! Canvases! )I got those maniquines that pose in whatever position you put them in, and now I'm redrawing my whole comic over ^^

Its called Unfamiliar Destiny. At first I had no clue what to call it, then Keenspace asked for a name and I thought I could never change it, so I put that down. Now it fits perfectly into the story ^^ Eh, I don't have it up but I have the front page loading on one of my old sites: http://www.geocities.com/unfamiliardestiny/ud1.jpg
Hm. If that doesn't work, then I've forgotten the name already. Its only the cover though, I have much more but I'm not ready to post them out. I just hate my lack of net knowledge, it makes me mad X_X And my connection doesn't help either, it takes forever... Bleh....

Ah.. I'll never know. It makes me feel really unproffesional when I look at all of your comics, most of you have already finished them and are just posting them out. I don't know what the ending will be like, but I know there will be a sequel.
Keenspace is so annoying... It won't let me log into my account to update. I'm thinking of getting my own website soon, if I know how to work independently on HTML.. *Sigh*

Heheh.. I have like 5 endings for the story but I don't know what to choose. Knowing me, I'd probably make up another five later on and choose the stupidest one as I go along
I want to get proffesional art classes >.> In my stupid school we draw sunflowers and lolipops..

ha lolipos? cute but not very useful unless your like me and can't draw good then no prob.
personally when I try to draw actions I put dots at the joints along the limb and move the dots to the point Ineed them then fill in the rest it made my life easier. now I just got to learn to atche the arms and legs to the body with out killing all the work that gose into them
were can you get supersculpy? I'd like to see how it works
whats your comic called Dragoness? if its up I'll go take a look.
from a GM/DM's point of view I really thing you shouldn't limit yourself on how you end the story as its what happens between the start and the finish that makes the story good.

If they have Micheal's where you are, then they must be everywhere. A new one just sprang up a month or so ago near me. But supersculpy should be in just about any craft store. If I'm not mistaken, you can even find it at Walmart. Sculpy is fun! Whee! ^_^
My problem with writing is I'm good at beginnings and endings (Just ask any of my "I've got writer's block and need your help!" friends. ^_^) but I'm not quite so great at the middle. It's as though I know where I am, and I know where I'm going, I just have no clue how to get there. o.O

Hey, the good thing about my sisters is that the older one gets to pick on me, then I pick on my little sister hehehe >
I hate older siblings. Whenever my older one complains about something I didn't do or clean up after messes I just block her out and think about drawing. Someday I'll give her a punch when i'm... over 20 hehehehe ^^;;
She does worse than that.. Much worse.. Grr..
[This message has been edited by ~Dragoness~ (edited 07-30-2001).]
Drawing... I started drawing when I was 5 but only got good at it a little later on. I never had formal art classes but I would have loved to have attended those classes that lets me see...er... draw... nude models!
If you want to draw the easy way... I can suggest you draw in a cartoonish style first. That's how a friend of mine started. And from there, he got better until his work isn't cartoony at all. The nice thing about starting with a cartoony style is that you can concentrate in drawing motion and forms without having to worry about anatomy to much. But later on... when you learn anatomy, you'll find that drawing action sequences is very easy.
You can probably pick up the How to Draw Batman book by Ty Templeton. THe style there is easy to learn. It's a bit cartoony so anatomy isn't such a big deal. But if you learn the style, you get to draw in Batman the Animated Series and Powers style. Then you can just learn to do more realistic drawings later on.
HOpe that helps.

------------------

I need to take those classes.. I make my big sister pose after she comes from gym
( in return for that I have to time her doing pushups.. i hate siblings.. )
Its not that I don't know HTML at all, I do in fact, but everytime I try and make a site using it by myself it gets screwed up some how and I go back to nothing. And Keenspace STILL won't let me in!!! ARG!

he he he
isn't it great to be older then someone? I'm the second son myself but because I'm bigger than my older brother so he left me alone.
remember it is the mandate of all older siblings to torment their younger siblings this applys to all siblings even the middle child your tagets are just more limited.
the mandate dosen't include the causeing of permenant harm are sever ingury these go alittle beyond the accepted limits of sibling torment.

email probly won't work they probly have some sort of entrance requirement that must be met (if i'm wrong so be it)
when i'm running an adventure I sometimes find that i've lost track of what exactly im sobosed to be doing and in those cases I look at the charicters involved and how they react and use that or some other big event to change the path so that i end near to the point were I want the story to end it can be a real pain somtimes espeacaly if my friends are useing really anoying charicters but I find it generaly works
nope no micheal's here (I live in northern canada) but we do have a walmart.
thanks I'll check if they got any next time i'm in there.
thanx for the art advise it might even help
heh siblings can be a pain (I know because I am one of those anoying older siblings it's our official mandate to torture our younger siblings mercylessly until they are 20 and maybe longer if we feel like it )
don't worry your sister could have got you to do worse things than timeing her push-up's heh I know I would've >
[This message has been edited by shawn of clan carson (edited 07-30-2001).]

hmmm well the two year differance is the same for me but personly I like my younger brother better than the older (he's less up tight about things) but my older brother is more easily satisfied with things then my little brother so it evens out.
I think you'll find that alot of the time siblings are close it's only the nature of the relationship that determines how they react to each other. among my family I'm left alone because I'm just bigger and my older brother never really bothered with the standard tormenting so it was mostly peaceful .... unless I got bored then I'd stir up trouble and sit back and watch the fun not a very nice thing but meh what do you expect from a bored kid.

Barbie dolls? Prom queen ^^??? I never really played with barbies, I preffered playdough and ponies.. Hehhe, I kept on playing with ponies until my parents had to throw them out to trash hehehe

I'd never consider my sister a friend. Every single thing we fight about, from who goes to the bathroom in the morning first to how long we limit our online hours...
Heheh, whenever I'm bored I take out my glitter/gel pens and draw all over my body. I think I have ink posioning, I once almost got suspended for drawing in our *coughcough* perfectly snobby *coughcough* school.

Hah, I loved My Little Pony to death when I was little. My parents made me stop watching it when I was like four. Good thing too, it would have been rather embarrasing in Kindergarten. As it was, I was the only little boy who had no clue what a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle was. Come to think of it, I never did gain any popularity until high-school. I wonder if that's why....
