I'm sorry I haven't gotten to answer
you but its a long and horrific tale
first ouyr phoneline went down! Gasp!
and then after two days of no outside communication! THE STUPID FILTER ON MY COMPUTER WON"T LET ME INTO MY OWN MESSAGE BOARD!!! GARRRRR!
but back to your question stinky me lad
how do you convert your images after you scan then?
maybe it taks so long because they are saves as bitmap images..
also if you have adobe or some other program to convert images you should knock down the amount of color in your black and white images to 8..thats what i do and it cuts down your download time much
though most people still say my downloads are pretty slow comparatably but what can we do? We have alot more detail and background then other comics so sometimes it is unavoidable.^_^

Well, that stinks.
My comics are much faster now. I made them smaller. Not actually smaller, because they're still the same size, but they are smaller because they're not as big. But they're still just as big as they were, only smaller. I mean they are smaller because they don't take up as much of whatever it is that they take up. But they are still the same size as before, but they're not.
I could go on like this forever but it's getting old.
------------------

I'm certainly glad your comic is updating more often. It's one of my most read comics. Hmm... maybe I should make a most read comic list. But then I'd have to organize my links page, and that would be work.
------------------

I'm thinking maybe you're not promoting your site enough. I've been joining topics all over the place on KeenSpace and KeenSpot. I've drawn fanart to some of the bigger comics and I've joined some dropdowns.
I think if more people knew about your comic they would like it. I think your art work is better than mine in a lot of ways.
Not that I know anything, I'm just trying to help. Thanks for the vote BTW.
I can't remember how I first found your site.
------------------

I thinks since I changed my comic to make it load faster, the art doesn't look as good.
What do you think? The background what kind of grayish but the black lines where darker. I kinda liked the grayish (grainy?) texture.
------------------

Oh, that's what I use. Just regular sized typing paper. The pens I use to ink with are not really art pens either. I use mechanical pencils because they're smooth and you don't have to sharpen them.
------------------

I like regular pencils better because you can do varying types of line and the tips don't break as easy...
I use a special kind of pen that i can only order in..it stinks being picky
Its a felt tip pen thing But EXTREMLY fine
tools are important i suppose
but talent is more useful ^_^

I could start a new topic for this but I'll ask it here.
How big is each orriginal page of your comic before you scan it?
Do you use any special paper or something?

Maybe that's why your comic looks better than mine.
I have another question if you don't mind my asking.
What kind of scanner do you use?
I like mine (it was a christmas present so it was free, the best kind) but it does some strange things I don't understand, like ramdomly changing the size of the pictures I scan.
------------------

Hey, I'm going to make a little place on my site for good thinks people have said about my comic. I've seen other cartoonist do that and I felt like doing it.
Could I put a quote by you? and if so, should I put the quote by Mealstrom or by your real name?
