'Army Preperation Week' they call it. God, I wish I weren't such a sheep and faked illness, like half of my class is doing.
So, in case you'll be wondering why I'm not posting my usual web-dictionary definitions of non-existent words and other foolishness, it'll be because I'll be running with stuff on my back in the rain, yelling "Sir, yes sir," and thinknig of suicide.
Oh, and the comic's not updating again.

Yes it is. I had to update manually.
Aw, but if Darnn goes away, who'll take the position of lead brown-noser? I'll be so lonely. Anyway, try not to hate it too much, D.

Oh. Well, I'd say "have fun", only it seems to be pretty well established that you're not going to.
Um. Well, at least it's only for a week. That's just 168 hours, or somewhat over 10 thousand minutes, if that's any comfort.
I'll miss you.
------------------

Wow. Thanks, I never thought I was so highly thought of.
It seems, however, that the majority of the thing was cancelled due to rain (in the desert, I should point out), which is just as well, because except from all the discipline I despise, I returned home with a temperature of 311.16 Kelvin (or 100.4 Fahrenheit, or, most conveniently for me, 38 Celsius), so I probably wouldn't have done much if I had stayed there anyhow.
I could go on and on about how much I hated it, but after a friend who'd been to this thing before me has tried explaining it to me, I realized that I couldn't possibly convey all that unpleasantness, so I'll just say that the army, any army, is an evil, evil organisation, and you should avoid all contact with it as much as you possibly can.

If you have to get your privacy invaded, at least it's by three cute chicks.

Why I went, you mean? Because I am too much of a conformist to feign sickness, actually.
I just thought that if they're making us do it, then there must be some point in doing it.
I think differently now.
