Found a lot of name-auctioning eBay spots.
It looks like someone else has picked up the Blacks' idea. And for much cheaper.
And even cheaper. I almost have the urge to pool our money and name the kid, "It's wrong to auction off your baby's name to evil faceless corporations you crappy-ass parents!!!
Or you can change this man's name to "Fartwad" or whatever you choose to benefit the humane society of Ottawa.
Or this guy, who just wants money.
Really, buying someone's name isn't necessarily good exposure. What if the kid becomes a serial killer (who wouldn't, after being named "Monastat 7")?
news announcer guy: Microsoft Black went berzerk today and killed eight people.
Microsoft people: Oh, damn.
[This message has been edited by theangryQ (edited 08-08-2001).]

You have not seen nothing yet...
Just wait 'til I unleash the power of rocket-powered Burma Shave signs on the public! No one will see it coming!
Bob "Or I guess they will since I just sorta announced it!" Scott
-Well, so much for the element of surprise. But you'll still be surprised when you see the Spanish Inquisition signs I have in store!
------------------

Stay calm, stay calm, one day you will destroy them all, Dezro. Remember your army of road signs... Once the billboard wars have a winner, you can direct traffic into the foul advertisements... I like how the guy's name is Angry Jealous Husband and how the gal's name is Distressed Wife. Because that implies an Angry Jealous Husband Co. and a Distressed Wife Inc.

Apples in Stereo rule. All hail the soothign sounds of Retropop! Via our Radio Station Connections, we got this EP with a press release -- which mentioned that Craig McCracken wrote an entire episode based around this song. I'm not sure which it is, but it's got the character "Randi Schneider", named after Robert Schneider of AiS.
And, AND, Robert Schneider's working with Andy Partridge of XTC on a new solo album (Schneider's, not Partridge's). So, uh, yeah. That's gonna rule.
So, yes, APPLES IN STEREO!
And the cover of that EP was done by Craig McCracken himself! That's awesome!
------------------

man, if sam and max showed up in "attack of the killer clones from outer space" or whatever crap name the next starwars is going to have... that would actually make it cool... did sam and max cameo in phantom muppets? i mean phantom menace...
~Chris "misses the pre-cartoon sam and max days. Cartoons make any cool comic into a peice of commercialized penguin droppings." Howe
