Is anyone else really mad at Kath right now? Sometimes I start to like her, and then she does something that makes me realize she's a total b- ... uh... "jerk."Frankly, for a little while I felt sorry about their break-up, but now I'm remembering exactly why Will did it.

Um... Will didn't break up with Kath, it was the other way around. I can't seem to find the comic, but I'm pretty certain...If I manage to dig up a link to either of them breaking up with the other, I'll post it...------------------

I think she's just being honest with Shanna about something that they've been quiet about for years.It seems that a lot of things are coming out, like maybe something about Meighan. Especially with the "three" comment and Kath's expression in the last frame. Hopefully we'll get a nice flashback on Thursday to reveal THAT!
I'm happy to be getting a lot of backstory now but I want to hear about other characters soon. I feel lik it hasn't been long enough between this story and Escapism. The recent poll kind of made me hopeful I guess. Oh well, the summer isn't over! heh heh------------------

Well, it just seems to me that Kath's trying to convince Shanna that this is just a "phase," that it comes from a fear of dealing with boys. That's an attitude that's always irritated me.

I think that Kath would support Shanna, lesbian, sea monkey, or hyperintelligent shade of the colour blue; if she truly _was_. But Kath, knowing Shanna so well for so long, knows that she's never been a definite _anything_. Rather, she's been making up outer shells for herself all her life. Kath is running a bit of a superior attitude, here, but she's speaking from experience, and as shown in the last frame, isn't expect Shanna to have changed a whit. I think he's pointing out that Kath isn't bothered by Meighan, in response to "oh, this is just a phase" criticism. Any beef she has with Shanna being a lesbian thus stems from Shanna, not lesbianism.~f
