Re: What made YOU happy today?
First line-up announcement for Soundwave 2013 is out now.
Also I came home to this announcement from Swifty
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4TIvOCa3t8
AND it's on the one Tuesday (Aussie time) that I'm not working for a change. Probably be announcing the new album/single.
So a good day for me musically

Just watched the live Swifty chat - new album RED out October 22 and new single out tonight - I'm a little hyper right now and it's probably not just all the caffeine I drank at work to stay up all night.
Okay no more Swifty posts from me until the next time she does something awesome...

Well the Lympics went well. Host nation won lots of medals which was nice. Opening ceremony was interesting with Puppet Voldemort and a parachuting Queen but quickly got boring, closing ceremony was mainly just music, so I certainly got bored watching that. Nothing exploded which I was rather worried about what with the security firm messing up so badly. So yeah, we did ok. Though to be honest I would have watched just as much of it if it'd been somewhere else, so there wasn't much point it being here from my perspective.
Bought "Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Lympic Games" to keep the games going in my heart. It's fun, not revolutionary, but I didn't expect it to be when I bought it.

I am jealous as hell! Did they have any more of those cartoons narrated by Lowtax's kid, I loved the last ones.IVstudios wrote:Just got back from the live RiffTrax of Manos. I laughed so hard I hurt my throat.

No cartoons. They had two shorts thought: Welcome Back, Norman and an ad for prune juice.Komiyan wrote:I am jealous as hell! Re: What made YOU happy today?
I rather enjoyed the closing and opening ceremonies of the games. The rest of it? Eh... I don't have that high an opinion of the Olympics in general, but that's neither here nor there. My British-Canadian wife was into the Games, and rooted for Canada, of course. I was rooting for them along with her. I figured the US already had enough medals; we could share the love. Alas, Canada netted just one medal according to her. Figure just wait until the winter Olympics; winter's more Canada's season anyway.robotthepirate wrote: Well the Lympics went well. Tis vacation time for me! I have a week - the first time I've taken this much in two years. I rather like being off like this...
