Oh sweet!! Erica's shoes are awesome, and young Shannon doesn't look too pleased with that big flowy dress
And older Shannon works that uniform! Kicking ass, taking names.
Thanks a million, SpacePrincess!
Hopefully some of my meager readership will flow to you with sooniness.

Re: Halloween Costume Swap 2011!
I did some editing to my main page for this that I thought turned out nice, too.
Sorry I didn't get it posted till just now. I'm leaving it up all week, though.

Hoppy Halloween, everyone!
I had hoped to have my entry done for tonight, but I'm already running behind with the next ep of Critters so you'll have to stay tooned.

Oh, you shouldn't'a said that. Now I gotta do it...robotthepirate wrote:I challenge any of you to draw Robot looking sexy.

Re: Halloween Costume Swap 2011!
Here is piece 1 of 2. I decided to do one for both Island Hopping and Inhumation because there were too many similarities between characters for me to resist.

Not sure whether Aggie would actually have the frame of reference to discuss pineapples, but let's give it the benefit of the doubt, shall we? And Eddie was the immediate choice for Backer, considering they have (presumably) the same given name.

Part 2.

It's a lot of fun to draw the gang in modern clothing. Seeing Joseph in that backward cap makes me almost regret setting the thing so far back, I think it suits him far too well
Leon/Theo was a bit of a cheat, all I needed to do was change his clothes... That's Uly back there as the warden, I guess it's strange for me to always include him in fanarts when he barely ever appears in the comic itself. And Clarabelle is clearly taking the goth thing very, very seriously.
Heh, glad you liked the name. I didn't intend to do that at first, but I figured, how often do I get to do a swap with Island Hopping? I had to take advantage of the rhyme.
Corgan, the weirdest thing is I can't even see your comic image on Vinnie's site
I guess that I am simply not allowed to see it! What poopery.

Double Sweet!
Those are both awesome. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but Leon as Theo (Theon?) is my favorite part.
Thanks, Cuddly.

Me too. I feel like Theo must somehow be Leon's great-great-grandson. Either that or they are best friends on another plane*.IVstudios wrote:Those are both awesome. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but Leon as Theo (Theon?) is my favorite part.
(*of existence, though being friends on an airplane would be just as strange and appropriate)

Re: Halloween Costume Swap 2011!
They're coming. Now that I got this cartoon done I can go to work on mine. IVstudios suggested I could swap with the spambot, so I asked it. It didn't say it'd submit its end of the bargain, but it did say if I gave it $300 to invest in this one plan, it could guarantee me a 80% rate of return. So I guess it's a win-win anyway.Dutch! wrote:So... there are no more Hallowe'en pictures coming?

Nah, that's okay if there are still some pieces coming in. Just would have been more appropriate to put a Hallowe'en based piece up on my site on Hallowe'en rather and a week or so after the event. Not to worry. They'll get here when they get here.

Yeah, what do you think this this, some kind of webcomic forum?
Also, I post my gift on my Facebook page instead of my website since I think more people will actually see it there.

For some people, Halloween is every day.

Re: Halloween Costume Swap 2011!
I hoped to have a lil' somepin this weekend to post, but a certain fast-moving stomach virus kept me away from my drawing table this weekend and in the bathroom reinstalling my internal organs after retching them out in a most violent manner. Feeling better now, tho, but way behind on a lot of stuff.

Re: Halloween Costume Swap 2011!
Hey, Dutch. And to Cudly and anyone else wondering where I am.
My external hard-drive went Ka-Poof the other day and unless I can find someone to fix it i've lost all of the digital data for RTP. None of the original drawing are lost 'cause they're on paper, but there's still a lot of work gone down the drain. Anyway, it hit me for six and it's only today I've been able to bring myself back to the drawing board. So Dutch, you will have your Halloween pic as soon as possible after my own affairs are in order. And I'll hopefully be back on here soon after.

Jesus, that's horrible!
*hugs* Did you have some of it online at least? Aw, RTP, I hope you can get back in the swing of things. Losing things you've worked hard on sucks.

Re: Halloween Costume Swap 2011!
No, that's fair enough. I went through much the same a few years ago. The magic smoke escaped from my hard drive and I lost about 120 or so fully completed strips I had yet to put to CD back up. I still have them on paper, but I've never made the attempt to re-do them as they were all at least online by then anyway.
It's a horrible feeling, eh?
