Psh, Caramel apples have fruit in them. Everyone knows fair food shouldn't have any nutritional value. That's why I always go for the funnel cake.

My day started off really terrible. As I walked around I kept seeing happy friends of mine who in turn made me also be happy. Now I feel much better.

Another week over, got a whole bunch of mission info so I don't need to worry about it anymore, and I get to go on a mission to the airport that'll basically be a day off (minus the 3 hour drive there and back again the next day).

Also...I have a month's worth of comic books to read through. IT IS GLORIOUS.

Got all the housecleaning out of the way yesterday. Just need to do a little spot of yardwork an' it's play time today! Supposed to be nicer and warmer today than yesterday, so figured what better day to go on a drive with my honey bunny in my Yank Tank classic and get a pumpkin from a farm?

I killed most of my weekend watching Seasons Beatings (a fighting game tournament). I didn't get anything done, but there were some big upsets and exciting matches, as well as footage of a cool upcoming game called Skullgirls.

They just opened a new Grocery Store right behind my apartment. Grocery shopping just got super convenient! :D

Is it lame that I'm excited over a grocery store? :shifty:

My apartment in college was literally next door to an independent grocery store that had a Whole Foods vibe going on. It was FANTASTIC. I know exactly how joyous fresh food can be, you lucky dog!

Not if it's this kinda epic WIN store: http://www.junglejims.com/

We like to go to JJ's as much to look at stuff as to get food!

I'll be honest. I am almost positive I died 5 years ago and my happiness today is just something God has had in lien while I worked stuff out. In the past year I've learned sort of what what love kinda is, how I can make my own beer (it's seriously not hard at all), and that I can do whatever I think I can do. Its kind of intimidating how awesome the past year was, but I've got to believe I can do better, and as stupid as I was, next year is gonna be more awesome still.

*Edit - Also, I love you guys (mostly the oldbies who know who they are) so very very much.

Its super easy. You pretty much boil malt extract in 5 gallons of water, add hops, then cool it down to add the yeast. Then you keep it in a bucket or carboy with an airlock to let the C02 out. The one at the bottom is mead. Should be done just in time for Christmas. What started this whole beer making thing was the store ran out of Guinness. For like 3 months. So I thought screw it, I'll make my own then!

Heh...

I have a friend of mine who's also making his own beer right now. When you're done, all you need is a coonskin coat and a speakeasy and you can make like it's Prohibition!
