Ok, here's the idea. Respond to this post if you are a keenspace artist with links to what you think are your best 1-2 comics so far. It would be an excellent means of self promotion (I think).
So without further ado, I will start the ball rolling:
I run plufim comics, and think my funniest 2 comics thus far have been the 2 below:
http://plufim.keenspace.com/d/20010416.html
http://plufim.keenspace.com/d/20010520.html

Ok, now it's up to others to follow on. Unless no-one wants to and chooses to ignore me.
Bah!
Connell
------------------
Got to my comic. It's funny. No, really, it is.

Great topic! I think the best ones are the ones coming up in the next couple weeks. I've done a few weeks a head and the art is an improvement from what I've done in the past. But anyway, from the ones I've done so far:
The Christmas 2000 Strip:

I'm walking the thin line between shameless self-promotion (Vote: Vicious Lies for Best Gag Comic and Best Romance: Ann and Dave!!) and neurotic humility (why would you want to vote for Vicious Lies?)...
...but here are some comics that I personally think will justify my desire to pitch my comic. I know I put in more than the two or three, but they're really quick reads. I added provisional titles to them just to make the board look a little nicer. That's because I'm neurotic.

I kinda have two versions of the same comic. The acutal Squadron 509 which is epic. And Adventures of the Chibi Squadron. I'm sorry I can't pick two like ya said but this is only an extra one.

Ok, I don't know if these are necessarily my best strips. Or even my favorites. I like all my strips, even the sort of dumb ones. But here are seven strips that I really like for one reason or another, and my reasons.
1. <a href="http://grimstone.keenspace.com/d/200010 ... 10/2000 I've had a few people tell me they really liked this one. It still makes me laugh.
2.<a href="http://grimstone.keenspace.com/d/200010 ... 12/2000 I love this punchline. Refers to one of my favortie commercials. I also love Count Cyanide. He's one of my favorite characters to use. He's just so silly and weird.
3.<a href="http://grimstone.keenspace.com/d/200010 ... 26/2000 This strip was particularly fun and particularly hard to draw. I actually watched an old sport Goofy cartoon to get this pose right. I just think
it's a funny yet morbid idea.
4.<a href="http://grimstone.keenspace.com/d/200011 ... 01/2000 Elegant in its simplicity. It's a style of strip I plan to
use more often: humurous captions to character one-liners.
5.<a href="http://grimstone.keenspace.com/d/200011 ... 02/2000 Ah, my big scene lift comic. I love this one for its absurdity and cause I'm a huge star wars nut.
6.<a href="http://grimstone.keenspace.com/d/200104 ... 15/2001 The comeback strip. I love the new weekly format I created for this one. My favorite talking head strip. I think Ribcage looks his best here. Captures the essence of the character.
7.<a href="http://grimstone.keenspace.com/d/200105 ... 13/2001 I like the pacing on this. The whole pantomine for the first two-thirds, then the visual punchline. Nitro is a fun character to draw.
There you go. My rather verbose list. But hey, I'm starving for readers. Please read my comic!!
------------------

it's a funny yet morbid idea.
------------------

hmm...i'm not good at picking which ones are the funniest...my stuff's sometimes funny and sometimes serious. but here's a couple that i liked the art on.
Good times with Dylan and Kristan - no joke here, just trying to create an overall effect.
Kinky, nasty, creepy - also not a funny one, just a plot development. i liked how it turned out.
Fighting temptation... - simple, but cute.

I'll get in on this! I'm not above taking advantage of an opportunity to shamelessly plug Fight Cast Or Evade! Unfortunately, I've got a lot more favorite strips than just two:
Well, the Economy Is Booming; bad art (it's an old strip), but I like the joke
An Electrifying Personality; same as above
Cover; this about sums the whole strip up
Butch's Cameo; even if I had to steal another strip's character I still really like this one
Ooh! Popcorn!; bad drinking humor
The Morning After; the last panel is what makes this strip
Fanboy's Delight; I can't defend this one, but I like it
Hand It Over; I personally saw someone almost fall out of her chair from laughing so hard after reading this strip
Naked Came I; one of my more complicated strips; part of a crossover with PDI
Alpaca?; again, I like the joke
Did I Win?; good pacing, a nice Douglas Adams reference
There. I told you I was shameless!
------------------
