Doodles 12: Just like clockwork.

Y'know, I never thought I'd utter these words in regards to comic art, but....their boobs are too small. Also rather ball-like. Coloring is nice, though.

Yeah there was a period that my boob drawing abilities really dropped-out - but to be fair Sammi's (blonde/pink girl) are about the right size, I'm not one to draw unrealistically huge boobs (mostly).

An effort which I applaud! Actually, I think the problem is the inner curve along the median of the rib cage. You might find that they look more natural if you simply eliminate that curve and just use the out ones and the zig zags denoting the stretches in the shirt. I also think that breasts fall just a smidgen lower on the chest. Anyhow! You might try a bit of sketching and see what you think.

Your stuff reminds me of a comic I once saw.

I'm trying to remember the name now. It was something about hooligans... and possibly hockey.

Must've been one of IV's prewar comics.

I would say its a great improvement! The lines defining the breasts flow with the torso's lines now and it all looks much more unified, and less lines used means less attention is drawn to the chest.

I loved that place. I don't use my tablet anymore... It's covered with dust.
I think I stopped using it because every time I plugged tablet in, I'd have to reinstall my scanner.

it's scary if you pretend the rest of the person's face isn't there. like if the mask was really obscuring all of their features, and there was just this vast empty expanse until you got to the person's chin.

I'm making someone a poster for Christmas. Just finished the lines and I'd like you guys to point out anything funky if you would be so kind.





A few things to note:

The bottom portion is going to be covered for the most part in grass (hands aside of course), so thats why details down there are light and some parts, like Autumn's foot there, look like they're floating.

I think Autumn's arm may be drawn a tad too long, but not enough to read incorrectly. Let me know if it fell into the uncanny valley, though.

I drew this while watching the movie Bloodsport.

Seth's legs look odd and I think its because of thier thickness. Originially I had details in the jeans, but decided to leave them for the color stage. Grass will also be covering a good portion of the foreleg.

I've gotten into doing ACEOs....which are baseball card sized pieces of art. Mixed result so far, but I think I've finally nailed down a technique I like.
