Guess that Character!

Post by MixedMyth »

It's kind of an internet game. The genie asks you questions and you give answers to the best of your knowledge as he tries to guess who you are thinking of. It's eerily accurate. I've had it miss...but only one time through. It usually gets it right within five questions after that. :o

WHO'S THAT POKEMON?

Post by Cope »

19 questions to get to Cerebus the Aardvark. Not bad.

When he started asking "Does your character have a tail?" and "Does your character fight with a sword?" I was all like "Holy shit, he's got it."

I beat it using Harrison Ford's Character Henry Turner from Regarding Henry. Though he got Sauron and Mr. Morden before I started moving into the obscure.

He managed Captain Planet in 16 tries. Failed to figure out Albert Mutz, one of the child soldiers in Die Brücke, though.

Damn, 28 tries to figure out Dr. No. And mainly because someone doesn't have a clue as to who Dr. No is:
Question - Answer Given - Answer Expected
Is your character German? - Yes - No Yes, yes he is. He's half German and half Chinese. Heritage doesn't get lumped into which ethnicity has more members.
Does your character use guns? - Probably not - Probably What? He can't even climb up a pole to save his life! How the hell's he supposed to hold a gun?
Does your character have a tail? - No - Yes What?!

It didn't get Laertes, though it came close before taking a wild stab with Duncan McLeod.

It got the Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past From The Future and BIll Denborough wrong on the first go.

Got 'em on the second round of questions though.

It also got Circe, though I'm not sure how since the last question was if it was a character in Prison Break. That seems so far off the mark it must be some sort of guess.

2007 Playmate of the Year, Sarah Jean Underwood (best PMOY in decades) in 21 questions. That bastard's good.

Well, the thing is based on how often people use the same person. This really says more about people playing this game than the genie himself.

I really have to concur with that one. She's dreamy.
