Elliot, consider your permission granted.
I'd type something else here, but I've got homework. Have fun.

Hooray then!
On a related note, anyone have any idea when we could have the next session?

Friday. Since I'm not going to NDK due to plan problems, I can hold a session at my place.
What is the true path to victory? I say start with Flashman's stage.

Mmmkay.
Gunter and I want to go see Sorority Row on Friday.
Maybe a movie and session afterward?
We might also be able to do my place too, although I wouldn't count entirely on it.
Also, I have some pretty epic stuff planned for next session.
WHEE!

Yeah, I suppose.
I'll talk to Gunther about it.
We still have two more days, after all.

Pickup time is NINE 'O CLOCK PM.
MAKE SURE RIDES ARE ARRANGED FOR BEFORE THIS TIME AT LEAST.
THANK YOU.
Also, Mom won't be here. Tim says if we bother him, he's kicking us out.
EDIT AS OF 7:14 PM:
Tim was kidding about kicking us out.
BRING AT LEAST $6 TO POOL IN FOR DINNER. THOSE WHO DO NOT WILL BE PUNISHED.

I am my own ride, but I'll have to scrounge around for money. It shouldn't be a problem.
Can't wait to see what Andre's got in store for us.

Re: Tabletop Roleplaying Thread
NEW DISCUSSION.
We should talk about all the Letters and Numbers we've met, that way we can compile that list that Andre recommended. I'll start with the numbers.
We met One on the ship to the New Word. "The Thousand Deaths" imply the things he's killed to gain power. He uses fleshy tendrils which are obviously organic matter that he's consumed. Besides, he sucked up a kraken like a milkshake.
Two, we've only seen half of. "The Mother and Child". We met a child yearning for his mother, which Zeike...*ahem* released. The mother is...unfortunately, still out there.
Three, I think we've met. This was pre-Niccolo, but we searched a very odd house before we found the ship. There was a large entity controlling the house, this "The Devil of the Hearth".
The rest of the numbers are unknown to us, except Seven, "The Keeper of the Clocks", which we didn't bother to fight because it was too funny watching Gunther die.

Re: Tabletop Roleplaying Thread
What about that guy we're facing at the moment? Does he have any resemblance to any of the numbers on the list?
Furthermore: We're all reincarnations. Holy shit.
If we manage to survive the boss fight, I really need to find me a way to get some Silver Express bullets. Seeing as the Unholy Specials are ineffective against anything without a soul (not to mention costing ME souls,) and that the probability of most undead actually having a soul is low, I'm going to have a tough time contributing more then wasted bullets to every fight without 'em.

Re: Tabletop Roleplaying Thread
I'm just looking at this on core value (As I don't quite know what race exclusives there might be or what the feat rules might be for races), but the way I see it, the stat tradeoffs for some of the races are a tad odd.
For the first few races, the stat tradeoff is one of losing two points in a lesser proficient stat, which is probably according to role and conventional mindset.
The way this works is Tadeoff = giving up two stat points and gaining two stat points.
However, for some of the later ones, classes gain extra points in more areas, which turns the loadout into...
Abilities = (-2 In weak stat) + (2 in strong stat) + (Another two in strong stat).
The formula for half of them equals Race Bonus = (-2 stats) + (2 Stats) = Racial Focus
The latter becomes Race Bonus = (-2 Stats) + (4 Stats) = Racial Advantage.
This roughly translates into: "Hey, for the cost of two ability points I won't be using, I can four that I will be!".
Due to the fact that not all races gain stats this way, there's isn't really any reason not to use the 4 point gaining classes.
Of course, this is me speaking without knowing if races get any other bonus, like abilities, feats, spell-like abilities, or physical characteristics.

Re: Tabletop Roleplaying Thread
Ah. Good point.
Hmm... Alright, how's this sound for the races that had a racial advantage?
Xalvi: +2 Wisdom -2 Dexterity
Devial: +2 Intelligence OR +2 Dexterity, -2 Strength (Bonus decided at character creation.)
Half Elvan: +2 Charisma, -2 Constitution.
I haven't figured other racial traits yet, need to work on that.
After reading over the handout Andre gave me last session:
A device which at first removes, then personifies a persons inner darkness.
Did I just hear someone say FORESHADOWING?!
