depends on the bank. the hometown bank that serves only locally? no way. one of those megabanks that rips everyone off? hell yeah, although I'd also be paranoid the rest of my life since those banks have the resources to hunt me down.

6 million wouldn't crash the economy if you don't steal from local banks. Look at that Maddof guy, he scammed a lot more than that.

See, the thing is, I already have enough money that I have people to take care of it. If that happened I probably wouldn't even know about it. My money people would be looking over some papers and go "that can't be right" and go talk to the bank and fix it.
