Allright, we'll let Eric slide for now...
I'm signing off for the night, by the way. It's been awesome seeing the forums so active, but I have other work to do, especially if you want to see Ch. 7 sometime this week. So... night, all.

Re: Comments on the Comic
General Comments on Myself:
I'm rather concerned about my inconsistency in drawing the comic. I'm nowhere near as smooth with my tablet as I wish I was, and drawing nice round curves is hard. Wish I could just instantly master it, but this isn't MegaMan, so I will continue to struggle with jittery, slightly uneven lines on my characters.
*sighs*
You know, I just had an idea... maybe if I drew everything at a larger scale, same relative size to my hand and eye, it would assist in getting rid of some of the more excessive inconsistencies in my drawing.
I guess the main problem I continue to have is the curve of art quality to drawing speed is still extremely steep. If I take my time, I CAN make stuff that looks absolutely amazing, but when you're updating five times a week your options are frequently limited to Filler, Cruddy Drawing and Jokes, or Skip Sleep and Homework, listed in order of their average appeal to me.
I wish I could draw fast AND good, to sum it up.

Thanks, Elliot. Still, if I don't push myself I'm not going to improve very quickly. Don't worry, I won't break myself.
Gotta get to work on the comic... been away from tablet most of the night.

Oh man, you have no idea. *shot*
Thankfully, I do have an idea for tomorrows strip, so I'm just getting it done now. I like it when I manage to find a good idea.

On Trivia Bowl:
You guys did well. I mean, I don't even think I know enough trivia to be good at that sort of thing. Although, sports trivia is what usually gets me, as well. Don't worry, we're nerds, sports are our arch-nemesis.

Re: Comments on the Comic
You obviously haven't read my DeviantART journal. Do so now.
I guess my train of thought was running along the lines of "Get it out there now or you may never get the chance."
So, if I'm going to say it, might as well use a bullhorn and stand on a rooftop to do it.
So yeah!

I see.
I've read said journal.
It's all very interesting...
I have the urge to yell at you/hurt you. *deep breath* However, you're my friend, so I won't.

If the manner in which I interpreted your not-quite-threat is accurate... oh jeez... oh.

...
I'd ask my sister what the heck I should say right now, due to her extensive knowledge of such problems, but 1.) We hate each other and 2.) She'd laugh at me for days before finally giving me a sarcastic answer.

Re: Comments on the Comic
Look. This is nothing to overreact over. It's not like we're going out, it's just I've had that crush for two years, you could say. Now, listen.
It's no problem. I just advise you STAY AWAY FROM SHELBY for at least the next three or four days. Let me give you a direct quote from our text conversation, and don't tell her I did this:
"Augh. I need to beat some sense into that boy! Maybe his head'll clear up after becoming crippled."
Please, for the LOVE OF GOD, stay away until I can fix this. This is nothing against you. Well, for her, it is, but you're my friend and I'm backing you up. If you must talk to her, at least stay with me, got it?

Allright, I'll listen to your advice.
And sorry for elbowing in suddenly on your crush. Not much that I can say besides that.
...
You do realize if she happens to read this forum she's going to see this conversation.

She won't.
And you hardly "elbowed in". I'm cool with it. But she's not. You know nerd rage? She's like that times five.

New update: She was fake raging. I'm sorry, I'm an idiot.
Now you really have no need to panic. She was just being sarcastic the whole time DAMMIT WHY CAN'T SHE TELL ME THIS SOONER.

New update: She read this conversation and she screencap'd it for "evidence". Wow, do I feel stupid today.

Although I have a vague feeling I'm overdramatizing this.
