Not attending. We've got a lot of Soldiers asking for leave around summer and so the chances I'll get to take my leave then is slim to none. Hopefully next year I'll be able to take some leave and go. Due to my current financial situation I will be making a donation to the CG Trip Fund to make sure that while I may not go, someone else certainly won't have to worry.

Amanda and I will almost certainly NOT be there again this year, sorry, if we end up with time to wander around the U.S. at any point we're pretty much either A. visiting family or B. going for a job interview for me. Hope you guys have fun though, maybe this year pictures will actually be posted.

It looks like we will be at the La Quenta at Opry/Airport on June 5th and 6th.

I'll get the details to Aura ASAP for the website. It will be under the Russell Reunion this year so we can get the discounted prices on the rooms. They will be 76.50 before tax (normally 87.00 during June). The meeting room was given to us half off, which will allow us to rent a 12 person passenger van for extra transportation. The hotel will have a new shuttle service to the airport by June, and there is a continental breakfast. The cookout will be catered by Neely's BBQ, one of the best places in the South.

Look for additional info on the website shortly!

Beth and I, and baby Tristan, will likely be attending. We can't guarantee it yet; Beth has to find out what her job will be like.

I will be handling the CG Trip Fund this year. I will probably set it up this weekend or next.

Nashville, eh? I've been to Memphis and Chattanooga...Nashville is a new one for me.

Ah well, it's more about the company than the location, right?

I will tentatively put myself on the "attending" list...with any luck I'll be gainfully employed by then* and get the opportunity to take the weekend off.

Wanna throw your lot in with a pair of adorable, crazy haired sisters? Maybe we could all fly up together this time. Or rather, down, as the case may be.

That'd be sweet. Again, provided I get to go.

Though I suppose if I make the plans now, my future employer would have to let me go, right?

It's always been down for us. This time it's just not as far left.

As usual, I have to go!

At least it's not to bad, and I'll try to swing it. Right now, I have to concentrate on Furry Fiesta and helping Syke out there... which reminds me... better tell Kisai and Chris where I'm heading to.

It just won't be the same this year. Why, just today, someone showed up at work with a 29-inch pizza, and of course that made me think of the time we had with the 28(?) inch pizza at the cookout last year.

I wonder how Nashville is going to top the five-year run we had in STL.

St. Louis loves you all, but Nashville is sure a cool town.

I've been through Nashville quite a few times, but never stayed in Nashville. As for the cookout, it seems like four days goes by so fast, and again, it's going to be in the south as opposed to the midwest, which means I get constant reminders through that time of what I get to go back to- ever try to get away from your work but can't? There's no Publix in STL but there sure is in Nashville!

Not that it's a bad company, but sometimes I just want a break from it all!
